Stayed for the night with a friend..room was spacious one single and one double which was organised in such away offered an element of privacy between beds...would be fabulous as a family room. Two comfortable chairs and table to sit and relax almost a studio feel. Spotlessly clean tasteful relaxing decor and large well stocked bathroom..plenty of towels and storage...

We chose this hotel for an overnight stay, largely based on the Tripadvisor ratings, and this is the first time we have been let down. We booked a Superior Room, and the room its self was fine. The problem we had was at 6:15am, when a persistent roaring sound woke us up, and continued for at least another half hour....

Thank you for taking the time to leave your comments. We are sorry to hear that you were awoken by the central heating coming on. We do appreciate that a good night’s sleep is very important to our guests. To that end, we have installed secondary double glazing and thick curtains to our guest’s bedrooms. Our cellar cooling is timed...

I stayed in a four poster bedroom with ensuite shower. It was spacious and had good facilities with a large walk in shower. There is air condition in the room which kept it comfortable. The was no noise and the sleep quality was good

A very comfortable room with modern bathroom and large walk in shower. All staff we encountered were friendly and eager to please. The bar was comfortable with a good atmosphere. All of this, combined with an excellent restaurant which we used for our evening meal and breakfast, together with a free car park, made for a most enjoyable stay.

A wonderful rickety old Hotel full of atmosphere and winding stairs. Went for a superior room no 16 quiet but air conditioning units next door thank goodness they shut off at 11.00pm otherwise it would have been a nightmare. The breakfast was cooked not self serve buffet which is loads better apart from juice, pastries and cereal on the side....

Just a one night stay, but a great find. The staff are really friendly and we had a very nice large room (10). Had a really good meal in the restaurant, beautifully cooked and reasonably priced. The breakfast is really good, some of the best bacon I have ever tasted! Would definitely return if back in Ross. Thanks for a...

Very nice hotel in the town centre with parking space. We stayed one night.Good big room(number 16).The building is very old and you can tell with the creaky floors and thin walls. But it's still very charming. The restaurant looked ok but there was only one veggie option available on the menu,so we decided to eat elsewhere. The receptionist was very helpful, gave us some...

This was a great find! We just wanted a small meal so ordered a couple of starters and wished we had ordered more! We ordered just as service was closing for lunch but the staff were more than happy to take our order. The chicken and mushroom risotto was amazing and my husband had a beautiful soup of the day....

Another visit to this lovely old hotel, located slap bang in the middle of Ross. Great room, number 5. Wonderful dinner, cooked to perfection. We shared starter of smoked haddock and potato tureen with pea shoots and pickled cucumber...delicious flavour, especially the pea shoots which I will definitely be growing next year! My main was pan fried bream with masala...
