We were upstairs in Room 1 with a lovely bathtub that filled up fast. The whole house was gracious and there was a great place to sit outdoors as well. This is on the hiking trail so very easy to get to and there are two good restaurants right across the street. We were on a Contours Holiday Walk and...

I cannot really add any more positive comments than this wonderful establishment has already received. Kevin and Kathryn are lovely and despite only have bought the place in the past few months they are already making it their own. The house is furnished in a simple but very tasteful way and is very comfortable. Beautiful décor, Lovely spacious room, comfortable...

We stayed at The Bridge House for 3 nights and it was truly lovely. Kathryn and Kevin are charming and generous hosts. They were very happy for us to spend most of our first day in the delightful riverside garden, reading newspapers and drinking tea as we relaxed and unwound into our short break. The room was beautifully decorated and...

Stayed for two nights to attend a wedding nearby and it was a great base for our long weekend. The house and gardens are beautiful, really nicely finished but for a B&B the best part of all in our experience - the BED!! It was quite honestly one of the comfiest beds we have ever stayed in away from home...

The Bridge House facilities, our stunning room, the views, and the warm welcome and hospitality received from Kevin and Kathryn were all first class. Breakfasts proved an indulgent treat, and we loved drinks by the wood burner and tea in the garden. Thank you. We'll be back in June!

New owners Katherine and Kevin really have put their stamp on this wonderful setting recently restoring the magnificent garden, in this dog friendly environment. It was interesting to return to this boutique style B&B under new ownership and I am pleased to say it remains one of my favourite places to stay. Kathy and Kevin are very welcoming and obliging - even helping us with our ' indoor picnic' as the weather turned inclement. A comfy leather sofa and a roaring log burner made...
