Booked this through Booking.com. On arrival I was stunned. The whole place was in a complete state of disrepair. The bedroom, bed and bedding was absolutely filthy but that was nothing in comparison to the dirtiest bathroom I have ever seen. They were rude and unapologetic stating that this is a working farm so what did we expect (basic hygiene...

On arrival the house looked beautiful and was well out of the way of any noise or hustle and bustle. Just what we were looking for. Check in was easy, our room was lovely, with a fab view. We had an external bathroom which was clean and just across the landing. We had breakfast the first morning which I didn't...

We just stayed for 6 nights and wish it had been 60. After our long drive up the grassy single track road, Sandra came outside to greet us. She and Arthur proved most welcoming and accommodating hosts, giving us a tour of the fields in a Land Rover and inviting us to watch sheep-shearing at close quarters. Our room had...

Sandra and Arthur were incredibly kind and welcomed me into their busy lives and farmhouse on surely one of the soggiest camping weeks in August. I was able to dry my tent off and waterproof it in their shed (the grandchildren and dogs added to the sense of camaraderie) and Arthur cheerfully provided me with tape to fix a broken...

I don’t think the owners would disagree with anything I have to say in the following review, since I discussed and informed them of most of this. · The property is in a wonderful location with far reaching views over the town of Tavistock below. You’ll have a peaceful night’s sleep. It is a bit tricky to find though along...

If you look at the website for this B&B and read the information contained in it, you would think that this would be a nice family run farm with homely accommodation and welcoming hosts. The reality is very different. On pulling up in the car park it was daunting to see a house looking so untidy and unkempt. Weeds grew...

Well, this was a business trip, so whilst the scenic setting and family run farmhouse element was nice, it wasn't that important to me. What was important, and I don't think it was too much to ask for, was a clean bed, and a shower each day after work. I could put up with the age of the building... The...

My wife and I stayed for just one night but what an amazing experience we had. Sandra and Arthur couldn't have been more accommodating and nothing was too much trouble for them, offering far more than the average B & B. If you are a lover of the countryside, then this is the place for you. They made our stay...

What a fantastic place! Am staying here whilst working away from home and whilst at first I was a bit daunted by the tiny lane leading up to the farm I soon realised that the chances of meeting anyone coming the other way were slim and none!! The house as you drive into the parking area is beautiful and the...
