A beautifully appointed guest house, with warm and friendly hosts and delicious breakfasts. Unlike some places in Tavistock, this is very well situated, off the busy main road and set in stunning grounds.

Always stop here for the night whilst cycling the Devon coast to coast. Joanne and graham are so friendly and welcoming. Amazing cooked breakfast to set us up for a long days cycle. Quiet rural setting just 10 minutes walk from Tavistock. Joanne even gave us a lift down to the craven arms (highly recommended) in the evening.

A beautiful and peaceful location which is a short walk from Tavistock town centre. Very helpful and friendly hosts who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The garden room had 3 beds and a kitchen area and was thoughtfully designed and extremely clean and comfortable. The whole place is beautifully maintained. Impossible not to feel relaxed...

Mount Tavy Cottage can only be described as luxury, it's beautiful. Set in wonderful grounds location a few minutes outside Tavistock, the house itself feels like a family home where you, as the guest, quickly become part of the family. The bedrooms are really comfortable and cosy but it's the bathroom that blows you away! Roll top baths, I'm a...

This is a very characterful guest-house and I was made to feel welcome, with a jug of real coffee and mints, despite a late arrival. It is very homely - I found myself thinking "when I get home tonight I'll go for a walk". Expect pleasantly old-fashioned surroundings (wooden beams, "un-modern" nice chairs etc), and a very comfortable, well-equipped &...

Perfect. Location, accommodation and facilities were all ideal. Graham and Jo could not have done more for us. We will be staying here again for sure! We had a brilliant time as a family of 5. Dartmoor on our doorstep - what moor could you want (see what I did there?).

What a fantastic place to stay, set in beautiful surrounding countryside and ideally located within walking distance of Tavistock centre. We stayed in the Potting Shed which was just as charming and delightful as it sounds. Such a warm welcoming place to stay and a big thank you to Heather and Poppy the dog for being so hospitable particularly to...

This place is great. 4 of us arrived on a Saturday afternoon on bicycles and the owners couldn't have been nicer to us. They even made us a smashing breakfast on Sunday morning in their beautiful garden. This place really is a gem, I don't have a bad word to say about it. I guess it wouldn't be suitable for...
