Burnville Farm B&B completely exceeded our expectations. In short, it's a fantastic B&B which we look forward to visiting again be it with the children or just us adults. We booked a family room (for 2 adults, 1 child in a single bed, 1 toddler in a travel cot) with the aim of this being nothing more than a base...

this is a simply stunningplace to stay - it embodies relaxation. The room we had was fabulously appointed, with every detail brilliantly thought through - elegant, light, airy and with views across to the dramatic Brentor church. The super king size bed was luxury personified - had a fabulous night's sleep. Supper was a succession of lovely courses (the venison...

I cannot speak highly enough about our weekend stay at the Farmhouse. It was simply perfect in every way. Lovely homemade biscuits on arrival, stunning scenery and location and we were made to feel like family friends by Tim and his wife. In fact everyone we came into contact with on the farm was so welcoming. With two dogs and...

A hostess who really understands that small, thoughtful touches can make a magical difference. Beautifully kept, warm, old country house and charming owners, set amid stunning countryside, total silence apart from the birds. Deliciously comfy, huge bed, (so important) goose down pillows, fluffy towels, a decanter of sherry in the room, posies of fresh flowers everywhere, log fire in the...

Spent two nights Feb half-term in the Garden Room with our 7yr old granddaughters. Accommodation was fantastic and suited our needs perfectly with separate twin room for the girls, double room for us, bathroom, shower room, kitchen and very relaxing lounge with a wood burner . Ample parking. Breakfasts were cooked to order. Lots to choose from. Very tasty with...

I had the pleasure of staying at this family run farm and home stay for a weekend in February. Whether you are looking to enjoy the warm comforts of playing back gammon by a roaring fire and excellent home cooking or the search for outdoor adventure with clay pigeon shooting and strolling over the nearby moor, this lovely place has...

Our first visit to this beautiful house, we arrived very late, but were invited to warm ourselves in front of the lovely open fire in the lounge. Tori was so welcoming. Our room was beautiful, very clean and lovely to have a fridge in the dressing room area for milk and our own shopping. Bathroom products from The White Company...

Just returned from a last minute weekend break. Came across burnville farm when doing a google search for dog friendly b&bs. From the fabulous 3 course meal Victoria cooked for us on our first night, followed by a scrummy breakfast, to the fabulous room with stunning view, to the plentiful history of the building, we couldn't praise the place and...

Top tip for anyone in England or planning to visit the countryside. Spent a very quiet New Year's Eve at a B&B in Devon because I needed to deliver something down there. GF and I stayed at Burnville Farm. When I say farm it rather understates matters. Think massive country house with 258 acres of land which is worked. Husband...

Classy b&b on which we took a last minute punt for a fleeting visit to Devon with the dog. Tori and Tim are excellent, charming hosts. You would never know this is actually a working organic 250 acre farm. Everything about this place is spot on. A pot of tea on arrival, along with a plate of delicious cookies and...
