Chose the Grand Victorian due to its location and because we enjoyed it last time. Once again we found it well priced and all the staff friendly. This time our room was not as well equipped as the last time, there was mouldy in the bathroom and the mirror was very dusty. The breakfast buffet offered an ample selection though...

We staed on a Sunday night, Four poster bed, Clean towels bedding & room. Full english B`fast ....£37!!! Beat That! in Worthing/Brighton! It is an old Victorian hotel with still some of its charm. The bar/restraunt is a bit like a Wetherspoons, but staff are friendly & services is good.As i have said £37 fora double..........you can`t go wrong,

Nice looking hotel from the outside but that's where it ends. Had to ask the bar staff to check in as the hotel entrance was closed, the bar although pretty with its Victorian style stained glass lamps and brass fittings it didn't smell very nice. After check in I looked around the room and discovered the filth and dust all...

Building is quite old but really really nice to look. The advantage is that the hotel is situated directly opposite the railway station. Breakfast was good and there was plenty to choose from. Room was big and really comfortable. Staff were really nice and friendly.

Very old building and a shame that it's been left for so many years just getting worst and worst , the clientele is very much bottom standard and this shows with the lack of investment clearly needed to be made to restore this historic building

Stayed here whilst visiting a friend in Worthing, chose based on its location I found a superior room great value at just £84 including free breakfast. I believe that being opposite the station in its hay day this was the hotel to stay at. Now renovated to its former glory its Victorian bar and oak panelled corridors are set off...

I stayed here nearly 4 years ago and said I'd never stay again because of the uncomfortable bed (had to sleep on top of the duvet as the springs were digging in) and the noisy nightclub next door, miserable staff and unappetising breakfasts. BUT!!! I chose to go back again last week, primarily because: a) it was the cheapest I...

Spent a working week staying in the grand. The bar was special for the architectural character with Terrific beer. Hotel needs some improvement and modernisation but staff were very helpful and enthusiastic. Meals and breakfast were good value and no complaints. Parking in evening was no problem, but during the day not sure as it can be busy due to...

I imagine this hotel was probably nice in its day, but alas it's now somewhat past its prime. The bar area, which you have to go to check in, is seemingly a fairly ropey meeting point for binge drinking locals. We feared the worst to be honest, so the fact the room was inhabitable was a welcome surprise. It was...
