I`d had a long hard days work and was a bit stressed when my sat nav took me down what looked to be a dead end. When i found a sign leading me into a beautiful old farm house , i was greeted by the lovely owner how made me feel very welcome in the splendidly tastefully decorated house. The...

We have stayed with Susie & Andrew Crang at Cary Fitzpaine House B&B many times (when we can get in that is!) and plan to stay many more times too This is farmhouse B&B at its best. Make no bones though this is a working farm and the farmhouse is a home as well. We have had views of the...

Wonderful place to stay and lovely hosts. The room was charming and the breakfast was excellent. It was a very peaceful getaway - we were there for two nights but wish it had been longer. Sometimes I'm put off when the venue is a B&B instead of a hotel but don't be! This is one of the nicest places I...

Stayed here for 2 nights with our 7/12 old puppy. Susie and Andy are very personable and helpful. Big room with clean en-suite and good shower. Plenty of breakfast choice - both full English and topped mushroom delicious. £75 for the room each night was good value. Couldn't get wi-fi to work in room, but was fine in lounge.

Just got back from staying at Cary Fitzpaain House, we stayed in the cottage adjacent to the main house. It was fantastic, the surroundings were beutiful, location was perfect and the accommodation was spot on. The owners made you feel welcome and couldn't do enough for you. If your looking for somewhere peaceful and relaxing to stay, look no further....

We stayed here for three nights whilst attending a wedding nearby. After a warm welcome we were shown to our light and airy room with its four poster bed, comfortable armchairs and a well equipped en suite bathroom with a very large bath. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts and we enjoyed their excellent hospitality, great breakfasts, and...

We loved this place - if you're looking for a country retreat, this ticks every box. It's a lovely big old house, grand but not pretentious, really homely, on a farm with horses, chickens, dogs and more. We didn't see another guest while we were there (maybe because all of the other guests were on the Wessex tour and leaving...

We stayed here on our way to Dorset with our dog. This is a true dog friendly B&B as opposed to saying dog friendly just to get your custom. We were in the the pink room which was large with a 4 poster bed and settee and arm chair, there was plenty of tea and coffee making facilities. The shower...

A fine example of a Somerset rural delight owned by a delightful local Somerset family with their roots firmly in the Manor house for generations , with an extensive knowledge and love of thier surrounding countryside . The decor inside the period Manor House reflects the beauty of the surrounding area a mix of quintessential and traditional , crisp clean...

Stayed overnight at this b&b recently booked it based on reviews and looking at the website. Overall impression was that it would be difficult to find in the dark but the location is very quiet and peaceful. I don't know about the other rooms but the Wisteria twin room that we stayed in was cramped and the positioning of the...
