When planning a business trip to a company in the area, I was not at all keen to listen to my colleague's suggestion that we should stay in a B&B. My previous experiences with this kind of accomodation never received more than 6 out of 10. A pleasant surprise was in waiting though when we arrived at the Gate House....

Having just got back home from my 3 day stay, i can honestly say i wish i didn't have to come back to the real world. The Gatehouse is one of the cleanest, friendliest and nicest B&B's i have ever had the luxury of staying in.Debbie you are the only landlady i have ever come across to make your guests...

I was put up here for a few weeks while I relocated for work. Wasn't looking forward to staying in a B&B for so long but this place was so comfortable it almost became a second home. The bedroom was warm and comfortable and the guest bathroom was always spotless. The cooked breakfasts were also really nicely done and Debbie...

My friend and I stayed at The Gate House B&B for 5 nights whilst attending a recent course at the Dog Barn which is a couple of minutes up the road! Very convenient. We arrived very late in the evening but Debbie couldn't have been more accommodating. We felt completely at home within minutes. Our twin room was welcoming and...

Have just returned from staying at the Gate House Bed and Breakfast over the week end and I must admit this bed and breakfast has to be the best that I have ever visited. Nothing is too much trouble for Debbie. The location was excellent in the centre of a picturesque village opposite the village green. The establishment was spotless...

I stayed at the Gate House for two nights when I was away on business in Banbury. The B&B is located in a lovely little village about 10 minutes outside of Banbury, close to the M40. Being a young woman on my own, I was apprehensive about where to stay. But Debbie made me feel so welcome. The room had...

Everything everyone else has said plus ideal for motorcyclists as good off road parking and Debbie is welcoming to both car drivers and motorcyclists. Nothing is too much trouble, many thanks for a very comfortable start to our tour.

The room was well equipped with little touches such as a fridge which we have only previously experienced whilst staying on a farm. Very tasty breakfast with produce locally sourced; friendly staff and quaint village only spoiled by the speeding traffic!

Have just spent a night attending a wedding..but if and when the opportunity arises to visit again, I shall be there. The accommodation, and breakfast choice far exceeded any like properties or hotels I have stayed in. Debbie you are so welcoming and generous. If you are in that area don't miss this one.
