Well presented but small room. The walk to the restaurant is a pain, particularly as it was -4 in the morning. The area surrounding the hotel is poor, does nothing to provide a positive initial impression. Not the easiest place to find either. Room price is on par for the area though still expensive. Restaurant is the usual chain experience,...

Stayed for 15 nights. Excellent hotel with excellent staff. Really enjoyed my stay. Will definitely recommend, and thank you for the helpful receptionists. The room was clean, tidy and warm. Did not have breakfast but a good cappuccino.. ate at the restaurant as well.

Stayed at Festival Park Basildon with our grandson for 2 nights when visiting relations. Checked in online so booking in was easy, room was very clean and spacious the only problem we had was that we put our towels in the bath to be changed before we left for the day however on our return the towels didn't look fresh...

Don't order the breakfast, the "pub/restaurant" was cold, the buffet was stale and on a very dirty table cloth. Cooked food was made to order but the bacon seemed over cooked and cold, and the eggs wet brown and crispy. Room was ok, no air con which wasn't an issue for us as we stayed in December. This wifi seemed...

The room and bed were by far the most comfortable I've been in for a long time. Modern hotel, excellent friendly staff and Christmas Eve we were given mince pies, chocolates and handwritten card in our room! A few minutes walk brings you to a great cinema and restaurants and Southend is a 20 minute drive away. Highly recommended and...

Not the easiest hotel to find as it is situated away from the main area with no direction signs, the hotel when you get there is very good with easy well lit parking, the rooms are excellent with mood lighting and very clean, we ate at the adjoining Fayre and Square and had dinner with bottle wine for twenty pounds...

Convenient location, quick and friendly staff, immaculate bedroom... Perfect for any short stay! Lots of food opportunities close by/provided by the premier inn which is also near a cinema, bowling alley, nightclub and other bars and restaurants. You wouldn't know any of this as in the building you can't hear a thing and it has a very calm atmosphere. If...

Very loud disco at the Quays (adjacent local pub), takes place until after midnight on a Friday, then the late night revellers leave. Had a long journey and all we wanted to do was sleep, not to sing-a-long to Cha-Cha Slide, Saturday Night and All I want for Christmas! For the first time ever I had to invoke the Good...
