After reading bad reviews of this hotel, l nearly cancelled, pleased we never, as rooms, although bit dated, were very clean, comfortable beds, nice new white fluffy bath towels. Friendly helpful staff. Had a good breakfast too. Stayed in room 62. Suited our needs and would stay there again.

I found myself needing a hotel at short notice so I choose Campanile purely based on price. Never will I make that mistake again. The room was something from 1950's Butlin's and most on the room were taken by "couples who just met" or were away on business . Several private parties went on till 3am and when I left...

Booked very late so not many hotels around. The pictures looked ok so went with it. Very more like Pointins and not Butlins. My opinion better to stay in a hostel or a tent. Bed was fine and staff was helpful.

Stayed here for a night over the weekend and I thought it was a decent hotel. My room was clean and I had a good nights sleep. Staff were also really nice, particularly the lady in the restaurant. Breakfast was also good. I wouldn't take much notice of the bad reviews.

It's nice cheap proposition for sleep for a few days. Clean. In this price is ok. Free wifi is only for 20 minutes per day. For longer acces you must buy a voucher. It is no more to tell about this place.

Room, think Butlins Chalet Food, well, let's just say, roadkill looks attractive now! Staff seem very friendly but that's about the only positive If you like Truckstops, this is for you If you don't, there's always Asda....

Basic facilities. WIFI by voucher (said free if booked through website). Clean, Comfortable, good breakfast, English or continental, helpful staff. Some traffic noise but next to A127, worthwhile tradeoff for convenience.

Arrived January 14th 2017. Very cold weather. The carpark full of potholes and flooded all making it look very unwelcome. From the dining area in the main building, you look directly into a grubby kitchen - no door. The steak I ate was 50% gristle. My room was freezing as the heating (one small electric radiator) had been turned off...

We needed a hotel somewhere close to Wickford and managed to get a room at Hotel Campanile that could accommodate 3 people in a room. No other hotel could provide this whilst enquiring. When making the booking the receptionist said they could add a single pull out bed in the room which I was very pleased about. The room was...
