Lovely view of Pavilion Gardens from our warm, comfortable and spacious room 3. Owners very helpful and friendly, particularly when we arrived back with soaked walking gear which was whisked away to drying room. Real milk for tea in unobtrusive fridge in room and delicious breakfast, with plenty of fresh fruit. We will definitely come again. Thanks very much Alison...

Lovely hotel in great location. Owners very friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good. Only issue was we were on top floor -although the room and view were great the outside temperature (snow, sheet ice and minus 4!) was too much for the heating and the radiator Only made it to lukewarm. We were provided with a backup heater which made...

Lovely B&B in great location. We stayed in room 3 which was spacious and well equipped with a very comfortable enormous bed. Breakfast was excellent with the best scrambled eggs ever! Definitely recommend you stay here if visiting Buxton.

What a room - everything one could want and more including a super bed which is so unusual in single rooms. Breakfast was amazing with such a wide choice. This place...

Very helpful when we arrived tired, having driven in fog and rain. They have a parking card for the pay machine right next to the hotel which is useful. I was expecting the pubs to be more old and cosy, looking at the age of the buildings but still the ales were good in the Tap house, as was the...

The proprietor and staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was well arranged and provided with all that we could need or want. I appreciated that there was a wide breakfast choice, not just the standard english breakfast, myself choosing the eggs florentine. It happened to be our wedding anniversary and Alison kindly gave us a room upgrade without...
