On opening the door we were greeted by Margaret with a very warm welcome and an offer of tea, which turned into tea and amazing cake. No stone unturned with amazing attention to detail and so thoughtful for weary travellers. The room was very well appointed and spotlessly clean. The shower was great and breakfast was first class, this b&b... More

We arrived very tired and bedraggled after a hard day's ride. We were greeted with a very warm welcome accompanied by coffee and cake. The accommodation was excellent. Good food, excellent room and very helpful hostess.

Arrived soaking wet with a friend as we were walking the Limestone Way. Have stayed before on the campsite but not B&B. Warm welcome from Margaret. Lovely cup of tea and homemade cakes. Room was beautiful decorated. Lovely comfy beds. Spotless bathroom with a really powerful shower. Even took us down to the pub for our evening meal and picked... More

I've been here three times now, once camping and twice to stay in the B&B and Ive never been disappointed. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. My first visit was around 2009 and my car broke down before I even arrived. On calling ahead to explain my situation, the owner offered to picked me up from the garage and... More

Very sweet B&B, very relaxed with coming and going. Incredibly warm hostess and yummy breakfast with delicious vegetarian options. Comfortable bed with own mini fridge in room. Local walk through the countryside near the entrance to the site (Limestone walk), room information folder comes with leaflets on local sites of interest (eg. Otter and owl sanctuary).

Spent 2 nights here, Facilities are great and all look to of been newly refurbished. Some of the Tent pitches are quite far from the Loo's but we were lucky so this was not an issue as we were in the Electric part which was closer. The site was lovely and quite on a farm. No play area for children... More

One of 4 yurts on the site, ours was spacious, well equipped and a delight to stay in. The site itself was in a beautiful setting, with good amenities and friendly staff. We stayed over the August bank holiday and expected crowds at the site, but this was not the case. We sometimes had a short wait for a shower,... More

After a day's hiking dressed in the typical gear, we arrived at the farm and were welcomed with a pleasant smile and explanation of what our booking included - we were not at all aware that this included an afternoon tea and scone with strawberry and cream - no extra cost - simply delightful! We were shown to our room... More

This B&B with three bedrooms only (ours was the Elm suite) stands out for its cleaning and the abundance of small and big comforts. Our room was pretty spacious with a super-king bed, very comfortable mattress and pillows. Bathroom ensuite with all necessary. The only one remark : too light curtains that don't protect from light so if it annoys... More
