A wonderful stay in a historic building. We were made very welcome by the owners, they are so warm and friendly. We were especially delighted at the care taken as we are vegetarian/vegan even to being served soya milk with a delicious breakfast.

Very impressed with the service provided at Hawthorne Farm. Paul was kind enough to text me letting me know there whereabouts in case we arrived earlier. Lovely little room and its great to be able to take our dog with us. The breakfasts they cooked for us were excellent - especially the Derbyshire oat cakes and mushrooms! Highly recommend you...

Lovely quaint barn conversion room with beamed ceiling. Clean and warm with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Very friendly owners and piping hot breakfast. Only about 10 minute walk to Buxton shops. Not quite a farm location but lovely never-the-less.

Sarah and Paul are great hosts and make you feel at home rather than in a B&B. The accommodation is clean warm and comfortable. The shower room was a little cramped but we managed. We had three rooms for a family pre-Christmas present swap and it was ideal. The breakfasts, both meatie and veggie, were excellent and the sausages sublime.

We recently stayed for one night at Hawthorn and everything went really well. Great welcome on arrival, really nice old farm house with a great room. Clean and tidy with en-suite, great value price too. Breakfast was the highlight though, fry up on request plus great continental options with very tasty stewed plums by the fire with gorgeous golden retriever...
