My husband, our friend and I stayed at the end of April for 2 nights and all left feeling 2 nights was not enough. I really can't fault this great B&B, from the breakfast to the comfort and size of our rooms we loved it, we also loved Chepstow and it's surrounding countryside. We arrived to a warm welcome and...

Excellent accommodation. No hassle check in as I was texted the entry code for my arrival and my key and room were ready and waiting. It was a lovely quaint twin room, beautiful view of the castle. well appointed and plenty of room with a bath and shower on suite. Lovely and quiet, car park directly opposite (pay and display)....

We stayed here before walking Offa's Dyke. Nothing was too much. We loved the honesty bar, our rooms were extremely clean and nice, the staff couldn't have been more helpful and nice and to top it all we had to leave cars in Chepstow to return to after three days and the staff very kindly put a new parking ticket...

Having just spend a fortnight walking Offa's Dyke, I had been spoiled by some amazing rural B&Bs. For the same price £45 that I paid for this room - I had been getting a double en-suite with breathtaking views. Back down to earth with a bump then. The 'en-suite' was a shower cubicle in the corner of the room. The...

Thank you for your feedback. Indeed we are not a hotel, we are a Bed and Breakfast as confirmed by our vetted status here on TripAdvisor. Our illuminated AA sign is actually a listed feature and must remain, we are sorry if this was the route of your confusion regarding our facilities. Our Basic Singles are as described but we...

Well, that was one of the best Sunday roasts we've had in a long time! Our first visit to Chepstow and this made our day. The cauliflower cheese was perfection, lovely cheese sauce, grilled cheese on top and the cauliflower was the right side of firm. The gravy was so tasty. I want to eat it all again! We look...

Had a very good experience at the Castle View. The room was very large and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were very good. The hotel is very close to Chepstow Castle and only a 10 minute walk to the centre of town, 20 minutes to train station, although it is uphill from the hotel as Chepstow is far...

Room was clean and comfortable but a little dated. Great location. The staff were really helpful and the breakfast was superb. The few bits it could improve on was - no food available on a saturday evening, the bar ran out of draught drink! and closed as early as 7pm on a saturday night. Just felt that with a few...

Thank you kindly for your feedback. Some of our rooms are a little dated but as I'm sure your aware these rooms are priced accordingly and we are in the process of enhancing the B&B as best we can, ineven floor boards and listed windows are hard to make look modern with all the rules we have to follow. This historic, comfy b n b is perfect in location, furnishings, staff, and first rate breakfast. It was a real find that we would recommend in any crowd. The bed was amazing as was the rest of the room. Staff could not have nicer.
