Went to see Lewis craven here. Very good range of beer, cider. Land Lord welcoming. The pub gets very busy if a good band is playing. The pub is also veth handy if you are visiting the castle grounds in Chepstow. There is outside seating that face the castle walls too.

Just been on an eight mile walk, with my wife, around Chepstow. We were walking towards town for a coffee and we passed this pub. We liked the look of the menu so we dropped in for lunch. The bar team were extremely friendly and welcoming and you instantly got a good feel for the place. Nice old fashioned pub...

Cozy, quaint and cheerful. Lovely old building with nice touches, from the hops hanging from the beams to the pillows on the window seats. A good range of real ales and ciders, and a quirky menu, either hot pies or no pies. Unbelievably my wife's first ever pie and mash, and it didn't disappoint. All cooked fresh. Will definitely call...

On a home exchange to nearby Tintern, we took a look around Chepstow and after working up an appetite stumbled across The Three Tuns. Our first impression was, they don't make 'em like this any more - in a good way! The decor was rustic with sheaves of dried hops draped over the beams and basic style home made pine...

While on a small group tour through the area, we walked over to Three Tuns for a bit of lunch. Food was surprisingly good; the Moo Pie especially. With the quality of the food surprised that there were so few people dropping in for lunch, although a few others were sitting in the outdoor patio area at the back of...

We stayed here for 1 night on our way back to Derbyshire , we did ring the day before to ask if we could park our car while we looked around Chepstow and also if they could store some laver bread in their fridge overnight, no problem was the answer. we arrived early and decided to have a plough mans...

Picked the accommodation based on Trip Advisor. Stayed two nights and had Room 1 which is exactly how it was described in a previous review 'quaint with squeaky floorboards' but that's part of the charm. Everyone was very helpful and seems to be a pub with a bit of a buzz. Taking a bath / shower was a real challenge...

Two day visit to Chepstow. Lovely pub with pretty beer garden, some friendly staff and locals. Pint of Prawns delicious. Overlooked by the castle makes this one of the most desirable locations in Chepstow. Service slow however, which is why the rating is a 4 not 5 😃

Lovely old pub(1620) in the shadow of Chepstow castle. Very pleasant staff, especially the owner who we met at breakfast. Breakfast was excellent, in fact she asked us if we would like the same again! Our bedroom, room 1 was quaint and quirky, with creaking, wobbly floorboards, nevertheless we had a good nights sleep. The separate but private bathroom was...
