Living in London, I wanted to go for a break away somewhere quiet and out in the countryside. So I came to Hidden Valley with my sister. We could only stay 2 nights. I believe their usual minimum number of nights is 3, but as this was an off peak season the owner was very kind to arrange this with...

We are so pleased you all had such a great break, Always happy to discuss a shorter or longer stay than the normal 3 night weekend or 4 night mid-week stay. It is really great to get the appreciation for the hard work we and our cleaning team put in to make sure that everything is perfect for our guests...

I was looking for something completely different for a while and at hidden valley yurts i found it! It was such a great weekend. Me and my boy (3yrs) collecting sticks to put on bonfire. Playing in the river and on the rope swings were highlights. We all loved sleeping in the yurts - they were so comfy and it's...

Where do I start, I am not really a glamping person I much prefer hotels and spas but when me and my husband married in October last year it was a wedding gift from my friends and family. We decided to book it over my husbands birthday which fell on a bank holiday in April. I was sceptical about going...

Hidden Valley Yurts really is one of those gems you can't believe you found and want to tell all your friends about. The settings are beautiful and idyllic with hills and trees surrounding you. You can hear water flowing nearby and local lamb and sheep, it really feels like you are away from all the madness. We were greeted by...

Our family of six stayed in Yurt One. We had a wonderfully comfortable, warm yurt, with our own kitchen and compost loo. The communal facilities are wonderful including dishwasher, bread maker, hot running water, corner bath, shower, flush loos as well as compost, all in the middle of a valley. The children loved the stream, hours of fun and playing...

We're regular visitors to Hidden Valley and we just spent an Easter there in the middle of Storm Katie. Despite crazy weather the yurts were warm, dry and really comfy. The new owners are fantastic! A fuse blew in the kitchen one evening and they were down to fix it in 5 minutes. Hidden Valley is great for groups of...

We're so glad to hear that the rain and gales of hurricane Katie didn't dampen your holiday and you still had a wonderful time. There really isn't any thing like freshly laid eggs for breakfast. Both the chickens and play area are proving to be a hit with both the younger and older of our guests. We are really pleased...

We have just returned from a wonderful, 5-day holiday at Hidden Valley Yurts, and we had an absolutely fantastic time! Hidden Valley Yurts is a perfect place for a family holiday. The yurt itself was clean, comfortable, cozy, spacious, and beautifully decorated. We were in Yurt 1, so we also had our own kitchen and composting toilet. The location was...

We loved our stay at the yurts. We stayed in a group with 7 friends and babies in yurt 3 which is the biggest I believe. The facilities were great, clean loos, a great kitchen setup, actual showers, big seating areas, a babbling brook, chickens for fresh eggs every day, the owners even took us and our luggage down to...

It is so great to hear that hurricane Katie didn't spoil you stay, and many thanks to those that helped me take down the safari tent during the worst of the wind on Saturday. We loved having you all here and it is so great to get some wonderful feed back. Do not hesitate to get in touch, when you...

As very regular visitors to Hidden Valley, we were very disappointed when the previous owners, Amanda and Peter, told us that they were retiring and selling up. We knew that it would never be possible for the new owners to replicate the experience we have enjoyed many times before. Having just returned from our annual visit, though, I am pleased...

I stayed at Hidden Valley Yurts with my family in September. the traditional yurts were beautiful inside and the log burners had no trouble keeping us warm. At one point we even had to open the doors! The yurts and kitchen were very well equipped. The children had great fun making home made pizzas and the adults using the traditional...
