Kinnaird Estate offers stunningly good, country house hotel style accommodation. The Kinnaird Suite includes a vast bathroom, superking bed, private sitting room with fire. At £230 per night on Valentine's weekend for dinner bed and breakfast, it would be a challenge to find better in Scotland. And that's before you encounter the vast lounge, snooker room and cosy sitting room,... More

A couple of words of warning to start with. First, don’t confuse this place Kinnaird Guest house, which is a much more humble establishment in Perth. Second, it’s best to approach the property from the south, as approaching it from the other direction makes for trickier driving, especially at night. Finally, there’s no advance sign before you get there –... More

My wife and I stayed at this mansion in October of 2013, on the last night of an amazing trip through Scotland. The property is gorgeous. Very old, beautiful rooms. We got in after a long day traveling and without having had lunch. They graciously prepared a very nice appetizer plate for us before dinner to enjoy in our rooms... More

Having been turned away from our booking at Bendarroch House in Strathtay due to it being overbooked, the very helpful Landlord at the nearby Logierait Inn (where we had pre-booked an evening meal) arranged a room for us at Kinnaird Estate Guest House. He did point out that it would be more costly - but this was absolutely no issue... More

I have just returned from a family weekend at kinnaird. The house is just stunning and the grounds surrounding the house are just beautiful. So many unique points about the house - being able to pick apples and plums from the gardens, fresh salmon for dinner, fresh berries and vegetables from the garden. I could have spent a whole week... We are very familiar with the Dunkeld region from our annual visits to Scotland but this was our first visit to Kinnaird Guest House - it was perfect in every way. The bedrooms are huge and beautifully furnished with antiques and have gas fireplaces. The bathrooms are very large with beautiful fluffy towels. We were having a reunion with friends... More

Kinnaird has reopened as a guest house and how delighted we are that it has! This is a stunningly beautiful country house, in some of the most spectacularly scenic landscapes of Scotland. Shannon gives a genuinely warm welcome and all the rooms are exquisite, dating back to a former incarnation, when this was a luxury resort hotel. Tony cooked us... More

We have just returned from a three day visit which is our third visit in the last eight years. The hospitality and relaxed atmosphere was as good as ever and we will certainly be returning again. We did miss the kinnaird teddy bears though!
