Visited this hotel with David Urquhart travel - rooms overlooking Clyde were extra but I understand better than some others. We had 4 rooms for the family two of which were not bad at all but one of the others had torn curtains and very washed out duvet covers. The food apart from the first evening was good and the...

Hotel is a grand looking building needing a lot of TLC. Went on a cabaret weekend that was great value for money. Picked up by bus early morning in Glasgow then made our way to Dunoon. Driver explained that we were not allowed entry to the hotel until 4 o'clock therefore we had to kill time in shopping centres. Arrived...

Visited this hotel with a David Urquhart coach holiday. Was slightly put off before arrival by some of the reviews on this page but was reassured on arrival. Yes, the hotel is in need of a degree of TLC - worn carpets, decor etc- but the warmth of the welcome, efficiency and helpfulness of staff well made up for this....

Defy anyone to get such good value for money anywhere else. Had a wonderful time with very good company and saw some really beautiful scenery despite the November weather. The Icing on the cake was the welcoming, helpful, cheerful staff throughout the Hotel. Okay the Hotel decor was looking a little past it in parts but everywhere was kept spotlessly...

A long journey from my destination but this I expected(although not quite as many pick-ups). The hotel is a bit dated and in need of some TLC, but that apart its a good hotel, and the staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient. The food was good with a nice choice of menu for each meal, which was served to...

Just loved this visit with friends to the Glenmorag, the hotel is a bit dated but clean and comfortable. We were on a David Urquhart bus tour and our driver Jimmy was wonderful, lots of knowledge and made our tours very interesting.

We have just spent a four night coach holiday at the Glenmorag Hotel Dunoon organised by David Urquhart. Good value for money as trip includes bed, breakfast, evening entertainment , a full day excursion to Oban and a half day to Inverary. We paid an additional £6 for a room with a spectacular view of the Clyde. Our room was...
