The hotel is situated near Hunters quay and so you can take the ferry from Gourock and you can see it when you arrive....so great after a long journey.
We had one of the recently refurbished rooms which was quite adequate with en suite facilties....More
i will begin by saying this is such a fantastic building. however its in terminal decline unless the owners can fund a recovery which given it has been moved into Liquidation in August probably wont happen.

Enjoyed our stay at hotel. Stayed 2 nights last weekend. Richard ,Dylan were very nice . Gary was most helpful as was Ron the chef. Had a couple of issues but nothing to write about. Will definitely have another visit in the future.

Unfortunately not in the main building, to clarify the their reviewer who states 'they seem to want to preserve the design', it is in fact a listed building, and the owners are unble to install a lift due to planning... More
Unfortunately not in the main building, to clarify the their reviewer who states 'they seem to want to preserve the design', it is in fact a listed building, and the owners are unble to install a lift due to planning restrictions.
However, there is a separate lodge with ground floor rooms which the website states are more suitable for those with mobility issues
