There is nothing nice with this hotel. It looks like a brothel. The menu looks as if all food would be microwaved. The bed base had stains on it, the mattress was so thin it's like sleeping on flimsy wood.

My friend and I stayed in a twin room on Friday night. We arrived late at night and left at 7am for euro tunnel so we left the car directly outside the hotel which was convenient. The staff were friendly and the room (which has been mentioned on many reviews) needs to be renovated but was ok considering the cheap...

Stayed for £26 one night double room to see us through for the early crossing to France. Is it what it is and it ain't much... but I will say this - the room was clean, tidy, and basic. Bathroom was ensuite and clean. Towels were clean. Beds are hard and bedding isn't fantastic. Downstairs the bar is nice but...

We certainly got what we paid for. Once we actually found the room after a maze of corridors and stair. We were in the attic! Cold, so out dated and shabby. But I have to admit it was clean. Plenty of hot water, but no quilts just sheets. I found the bed comfortable, other half didn't . We only stayed...

OMG was my first thought when I saw the room. It was terrible. Asked to change room , which they did without question. The room I got was very good. Excellent sea views. Staff are very friendly very helpful. The lift is tiny. The decor is dark needs brightening up. The location was excellent right on the sea front. Short...

Carlton Hotel When booking this it was a really good deal. Sea view room and the price includes breakfast. Three rooms were booked: My room, the remote for tv didn't work because the batteries were dead, the floor drooped down in the middle, the light bulb in the lamp was missing, the plug on the heater wasn't correctly wired, the...

I was staying here in Folkstone for 4 nights, therefore with an additional 5 guys, i needed something that wont blow the budget in terms of accomodation. The carlton hotel kept coming up on the bookings.com search, therefore at £72 for 6 people was a good bargain. I booked 3 x twin rooms on 2 nights. The main advantage is...
