We booked this hotel for 42 people for a work's Christmas Do and we had a fantastic evening. The food was simply delicious, the staff super friendly and the disco afterwards played any songs requested. Everyone had a brilliant time. The owner Connan was very friendly and accommodating. We'll be back

We have only booked one night. Folkestone has much more to offer and we will be back. We have had a lovely meal here. I had Christmas dinner, Winston had smoked haddock. Both delicious. This was our dessert. Tasted as good as it looks. We both know as we had half of each each.

We only stayed the one night but we loved it. Nothing was too much bother, we got an expected room upgrade to a 4 poster, parking was easy and quick walk to the beach. We had dinner in the restaurant... recommend the fish and massive chunky Chips! And breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The service/staff were superb and always smiling.... More

5 star service from the very beginning. Great venue and food was top notch and very reasonably priced. 100 family and friends very well catered for. Close family stayed overnight and raved about rooms and breakfast. Can't find one fault. If you visit Folkestone visit Wards.

We stayed here for one night as a bit of a last minute plan - and it turned out to be a great choice. We stayed in the upstairs room which has been recently refurbished to a a very high standard, with large en suite. Very nice english breakfast, but the stand out was the customer service in particular from... More

Stayed one night here on business - owner and staff could not have been more helpful or thoughtful. Despite the upstairs corridors being in need of further refurbishment (which will no doubt happen) the room, bar, lounge and restaurant were all nicely done and Room very comfortable, large en-suite and sirloin steak in the restaurant one of the best! A... More

We stayed here on a weekend break to Folkestone. From the minute we walked in the door until the minute we left, we were looked after impeccably by Connan and his team. So welcoming and helpful. The hotel is a beautiful property in a great location and has already undergone some thorough renovation with some still ongoing. Will stay here... More

I stayed for two nights while touring WWII aerodromes and museums with friends. The location is perfect on top of which it is a 2 block stroll to a beautiful beach walk and a short walk to the harbor and into town. It is indeed family-run, and the love shows from the welcome greeting by the owner to the restoration... More
