We stayed here for the weekend before Valentines in order to go for dinner at Rocksalt. We were very happy with the accommodation. We stayed in the Cliffe room which is on the top floor. Its a bit of a thigh burner to get to the top but the room was very large and very clean. I really liked the...

We stayed overnight enroute to France. Our room was up several flights and while clean and pleasant was extremely small. We are both very tall so if we stayed again would definitely try for a bigger room if there is one. The breakfast was ok. The bacon was nice although the sausage wasn't freshly cooked and the poached eggs over...

Second time staying at The Relish. Can't fault the place as far as location and value are concerned. Chimney room this time - a bit of "on the fly" cardio exercise to climb to the third floor but worth it. Lovely room, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is very good - a great start to the day. Only slight annoyance was...

A lovely bed and breakfast, staff are very friendly, not to expensive and it come highly recommended from The Rocksalt Restaurant that is based down by the harbour in Folkestone. You need to book early as this bed and breakfast does get booked up!

We made a last minute booking here, and stayed in Cliff room. Apart from the lug up to the third floor, the accommodation was faultless. We were given a tour around as soon as we arrived, and invited to help ourselves to hot drinks, soft drinks or wine plus a selection of cakes. The room was perfectly set up with...

Great service, close to the water and lovely comfortable and spotless room. The breakfast was delicious and the added extras of complimentary wine and cake kept both adults and children happy. Will come again .

Great, friendly service throughout. Breakfast choice was as flexible as can be - my wife loved the muesli mix and I loved the fact that I could order anything I wanted for breakfast - within reasonable constraints - and would always receive a beautifully cooked dish. Didn't have the time to visit with the grandchildren this time but they've loved...

A large Victorian town house in private ownership, 'done up' in contemporary materials. Double room overlooking the street so car was visible (street parking). Thorough guided tour on arrival and all staff extremely courteous and efficient. Some nice touches included good new towels, home-baked bread, excellent fried breakfast, complementary wine, cake, coffee and tea in the afternoon and evening. Sweet...

Spent 1 night here recently and whilst the hotel is pleasant enough, its not in the 5* league. The staff are all lovely and very helpful, particularly Hannah. The communal areas are spacious and nicely decorated with plenty of seating. The free drink on arrival was a nice touch and fresh cake is available if that's your thing. Our room,...

We have stayed here twice now and would continue to recommend it. I do think that things have slipped a bit since our first visit, however. The main pluses are the comfort of the rooms, and the complimentary cake and wine /beer. Minuses - we were on the top floor so had to drag our cases up 3 flights of...
