The location of this pet friendly pub is at the end of a long leafy lane in a village called Cockernhoe with a village green and lots of lovely walks in peaceful countryside -a surprise oasis in the middle of Luton and a real gem for dog owners. The locals are friendly and the staff cannot do enough to make...

Booked last minute, beautiful greeting when we arrived, we were shown to our room. Excellent cosy beds large bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities. The restaurant was cosy and comfortable nice menu. The food was fabulous all home cooked. The staff in the bar/restaurant really cheerful and helpful. Had an enjoyable meal. Excellent service from Debbie who was knowlegeable about the menu and did everything she could to enhance our dining experience. Good pub food. Meals were homecoooked - including the chips and locally sourced meat.

The King William is tucked away on the borders of Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire near Luton airport. I arrived with a group of six cyclists, we had not pre-booked on this occasion not knowing the numbers. The last time we visited the pub was looking quite tired and the food was quite poor and quite expensive for the food on offer....

Lovely location just off a big village green- you wouldn't know you were so close to Luton airport. Recently renovated rooms are good value, though the bathrooms are very small. Seems to be popular with the locals, and the staff are friendly. Disappointed that a pub that advertises itself as selling 'real ales' only offers Strongbow for cider drinkers. Food...

Small and tucked out of the way, and not easy to find. Seemed to be well used by visiting tradesmen, so a value gem. Food well done, and service well above what we expected. Cosy village pub atmosphere. Despite having a window right over the front door and bar patio area, we did not hear any noise and got an...

Normally we use Premier Inn if we need somewhere to stay overnight before an early flight, but on this occasion they wanted over £70 which we felt was a lot of money especially as we were leaving at 545am. We found this hotel on-line and at £55 thought it was a better price. It is in a lovely village location...

Booked this hotel as a night top before we flew from Luton at 6am Beautiful quaint little hidden gem literally 5 mins from the airport, but you could be in another world. Winding through a leafy country road you come to a village green, and the KW is tucked away on your right. We had the newly refurbed annexe room...
