This hotel is in a great location, right on the sea front, opposite the station for the West Somerset Railway which is a heritage steam railway. There is limited car parking, just 4-5 spaces at the side of the hotel directly opposite the railway station. If you plan to stay at the hotel you will probably need to find somewhere...

I recently stayed at The Beach Hotel on business. I was part of a TV company filming at the famous Minehead Railway Station across the car park. The managers and staff of the Hotel were fabulous. Their 'can do' approach was greatly appreciated. The food was AMAZING! The rooms were spotlessly clean with lovely touches of gorgeous smelling shower gel....

On arrival off the steam train we were pleasantly surprised to find the hotel directly opposite the station so no taxi or walking needed! The hotel seemed very pleasant and looked like it had recently had a refurbishment. Our room on the second floor on first sight was good if not a little warm but being a nice sunny day...

another good stay at this really pleasant hotel - amazing breakfast, great staff and decent rooms. The hotel is well located - close to the sea and the centre of town. I would not want to stay anywhere else in Minehead

What a little gem.... We stayed two nights with our doggie along for company. The hotel is clean, nicely situated and has a lovely modern ambience with locally sourced food, drink and people! I mention the people because this hotel is working hard to give local young people qualifications and opportunities in life - reason enough to stay - but...

We were very pleased with our 2nights away. The hotel is really nice. There is good disabled access to the ground floor. Unfortunately no lift to other floors. We had a very nice room overlooking the steam railway. Beds were comfy, bath was very nice. The breakfast was very nice. It was freshly cooked. Unfortunately we didn't try an evening...

Stayed here Saturday evening . Booked 2 rooms, family and double. We didn't realise when booking that this was run by the YMCA for apprentice training. Hotel was very clean with fresh paintwork. Our bathroom looked very new. Both our rooms overlooked the sea front which delighted our grandsons. Had an excellent evening meal and breakfast. All staff helpful. Would...

We've stayed at The Beach Hotel once before and were delighted we could take our dogs. We stayed in the same family room as last time (December), but bearing in mind it was only the end of April, the room was unbearable hot, despite no obvious heating in our room. I know heat rises, but as you went up to...

Really sorry that you didn't have your usually fantastic stay. We were hit by the rain quite bad that day and it did overflow everywhere. And the Victorian gutters struggled to cope. We have switched the heating off now, and it's always difficult knowing when to switch it off. We hope to see you and the boys again soon.
