We had another fantastic stay, the staff are so friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and clean. The spa is an added bonus and more than welcome after a days walk. Breakfast is very well cooked with a large buffet selection. Afternoon tea is a lovely touch with home made cakes. Dinner is great with a good choice of...

This visit was our second Christmas visit. The room was excellent, with all the little touches you would not expect from a three star hotel. The food is always a highlight of this hotel, it never disappoints. The Northfield breakfast is second to none. Christmas lunch was relaxed and delicious. It is the management and staff that really make this...

Last time was dinner for two, yesterday was lunch for thirty six. Same warm welcome and the most delicious meal. Everyone served within a few minutes with superb food on piping hot plates. Staff always smiling and attentive without being over the top. Only wished we lived far enough away so we could justify an overnight stay. Thanks Northfield, if...

If you want a lively hotel, don't stay here. If you want a nice calm environment with old fashioned service, then this is the place for you. I would suggest a room overlooking the town on the front of the hotel. Will visit again.

What can I say, great hotel to stay at. All staff very welcoming & helpful. Rooms clean & comfortable. Mixed age of guests, we're 40 and didn't feel out of place (others commented about ages, I say get a grip). Hotel is an old building which certainly adds to its charm & appearance. A lift is available & worth a...

Very cold and miserable day but the welcome was very warm and comforting. The staff were all very attentive and our room was very clean and well appointed with much attention to detail. The restaurant felt most comfortable and the there was a very large range across the menu both at breakfast and dinner. The staff were very attentive and...

Charming old style hotel with friendly staff in nice grounds. It was a treat to stay there. We had a very good view of the sea from our window. Minehead is a surprisingly pleasant seaside town with a small steam railway attached. I will be back.

We stayed at the Northfield hotel for three nights in October with our two grandchildren. We arrived a little early so we had a walk around Minehead until the room was ready. The booking in was quick and efficient and we went up to our room on the first floor. It was a family room with bunk beds for the...
