The Hotel: My fiancee booked this hotel for us so I could attend the Status Quo concert which was happening at the nearby Open Air Theatre. Let me start the review by...

We were meted by Roz who booked us in and showed us our room. The room was fine and a smallish bathroom but adequate. There was a lounge for guests and a comfortable place to relax after a day of walking around Scarborough. breakfast was well portioned and enough fuel for another day around the sites of the town. I had booked a 2 night stay at the Manor Heath due to it's location to North Bay and the Alfie Boe outdoor concert for which I had tickets. My hell started when Alfie Boe cancelled, then my partner decided he would join me for a night and then I had to return to Northumberland for work. A problem? Not...

Stayed bank holiday weekend only problem was that it was the cycling weekend,we are not into cycling. It was very busy this did not detract from the warm and friendly atmosphere from the owners of this hotel. The only problem we found with room was that the bathroom was very small but it was adequate for the weekend, the views from...

Visited to ride at the Tour of Yorkshire event. Stopped two nights. Bikes felt safe. Early breakfast offered and gratefully received. Everything clean and comfortable, felt very much at home. Quiet area, near the park and the front. Ideally for getting to the start line of the public event and the finishing line of the Tour. Recommended.

This is a very unusual review because I am giving it excellent under the above heading without having visited. We were due to spend 2 nights here this weekend whilst attending a family 90th birthday. Unfortunately, we were unable to drive due to my husband sustaining an arm fracture after being knocked off his cycle by a hit and run...

We stayed two nights over the bank holiday weekend and really enjoyed our stay. The room was immaculate and the bed was so comfy. Before we even arrived Ros had already granted one request for us and it was greatly appreciated. When we arrived Ros was so friendly and showed us where everything was. There is a lovely comfortable lounge...
