We went to Scarborough with friends for my wife`s birthday,and stayed at the Raincliffe Hotel on Valley Road,This was our second stay,and we will be back in June,that says how good the Hotel is. Just back from our 2 night stay at the Raincliffe. Booked it after reading the reviews and was not disappointed. Very easy to park, we were right outside. The location is good, just a short walk up into town or down to the front. We were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome, shown to our room which was lovely...

The Raincliffe Hotel is definitely the place to go in Scarborough if you want a warm welcome. Although not to be classed in the "boutique" style - its decor being very traditional rather than out-dated - all you could want for a stay is catered for. I stayed for one night in the ground floor room to make nipping outside...

My favourite hotel. Mal and Kath make you feel so welcome and cared for, it tingles! Lovely building and location just a few short minutes walk from the beach and promenade. Super clean rooms with comfy beds and legendary tasty cooked breakfast. Full marks.

We stayed here for a rock n roll valentines weekend 2016. We had a marvellous stay, the hosts are great people and the food is terrific and the standard of accommodation superb. We liked it so much rebooked for 2017 !! 5 stars all round!

Stayed for 1 night, our room was clean & tidy and our en suite was exceptionally clean, we had all the little extras like biscuits, tea & coffee tray etc.. we even had complimentary bathroom items. stayed for 1 night, owners were very welcoming. Room was clean and tidy and we enjoyed the biscuits. enjoyed the breakfast breakfast didnt leave hungry, katherine was always asking if we needed more tea and coffee we would definitely stay here again next time we are in scarborough
