Having read several negative reviews particularly regarding the leisure facilities and pool temperatures, our stay was very relaxing the pool and sauna were fabulous, temperatures were excellent. Our room was tidy, additional milk tea and coffee was never a concern, the staff were excellent, very knowledgable regarding the hotel and the area, a very pleasant stay and would most definitely...

Nice big hotel, slow service when checking in. Room was a bit run down, shower was pathetic but we had a great view the of the sea. Window was held open with a piece of wood, rather than it being fixed! Struggled with wifi in our room it kept dropping out. Breakfast great, parking was easy and pool was nice.

Where to begin? Check in was slow and unprofessional and the staff member was not very welcoming. We booked two rooms - a double and a single. The decor was tired and shabby.....woodchip wallpaper and cheap faux leather tacky cushions. Old fashioned cheap door handles which looked like they belonged in an old council house. The TV was the smallest...

Stayed at the Ambassador Spa Hotel in Scarborough for three nights in September. The hotel is in a lovely location on the Esplanade, near the cliff lift down to the Spa, with lovely views over the sea towards the harbour. It's a lovely hotel with its own pool and spa. We booked it through Superbreak and had an interior room...

We enjoyed a couple of days at the hotel which had wonderful sea views from the room we booked. Yes it was more expenses but it was well worth the extra expense. Overlooking the South bay, the castle and the harbour. The breakfast was very good and enjoyed by everyone in our party. Great to have a proper kettle to...

I find it quite unbeliveable that people are rating this hotel 1/5 or even 2/5. Yes it is quite exspesnive but for the location and few it is fantastic. The Spa is also amazing. It is clean, the pool is extremely warm and new towels and robes are provided. Some people have been complaining that they didn't know it was...

So disappointed. The room cost £183 per night, had a beautiful view and could have been lovely, but the hotel did not provide anything like the quality or service that you would expect for that charge.
