This is a quaint hotel bang smack in the centre of scarborough. It has included parking on site where you can come and go as you please, and there's also a swimming pool which is pretty nice. The staff were all lovely and friendly and the breakfast selection was good with a buffet style offering and then a menu for...

Went for a weekend to celebrate a special birthday. Public rooms are very good and extremely warm but bedroom could do with some attention. Single glazed, draughty windows led to a cold and very noisy room. On the Saturday night we got no sleep until . After 2.30 am and were woken by seagulls shortly after 5 a.m. secondary double glazing...

We stayed for 2 nights in room 17. The room was functional, small, but it did the job. There was not a view to speak of, so the room was often dark. The breakfast was decent, there was a large range to choose from. The staff at breakfast, in reception and at the bar were all very friendly and courteous.

Stayed Friday Saturday night whilst attending Valentine rock n roll weekend at Spa. Always stay here when we visit scarborough, and although we haven't stayed been for 3 years due to circumstances, the gentleman on the bar recognised us and welcomed us back. The hotel has been fully refurbished since our last stay, and the charm has been retained. The...

Lovely hotel with a really great on site restaurant. I was on the 3rd floor at The front with quite a bit of street noise especially the noise of lorries reversing in the morning. I will ask for a quiet room at the back next time. Check in was friendly. I parked at the front to be advised the car...

Marvellous staff and welcome a comfortable clean if basic room, it was warm the facilities of the hotel are good, although I did have a spot of bother with the hair dryer as it wasn't fastened to anything, but when reported to staff they said it would be fixed straight away. There was a power cut on a couple of...

Dear guest, Thank you for your review surrounding your experience here with us . I am pleased that your stay was an enjoyable one. And as explained on the evening I do apologise for the loss of power as there was a substantial loss of power supply to us and neighbouring properties which was out of our control. Fortunately Northern...
