We were looked after extremely well, the staff couldn't have been more obliging. The new owners are refurbishing to a very high standard and when finished I'm sure there won't be a finer hotel in the Scarborough area! Our family of 11 people wanted a special memory and we found it at Wrea Head Hall over Easter. The staff were extremely accommodating even providing us with our own dining room which made us feel very special. The service was exemplary and the food matched this and more. I could not have chosen a better venue in the area...

Spent 4 nights at the Wrea Head Hall Hotel during Easter week - location great, accommodation very good, food excellent, staff and service superb. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and used the hotel as a base for exploring Robin Hoods Bay, Whitby, Scarborough Castle, Bempton Cliffs (puffins) and Flamborough Head. Lovely walk across the fields to a local pub before...

I went with my husband to Wrea Head Hall for a 2 night break this week. (April 2013). We stayed in room 17, recently done up and lovely. The room was on the 2nd floor so banging your head on the vaulted ceiling was part of the character and the room was on the smaller size, however, if you want...

We chose Wrea Head for a 3 night stay in the Easter holiday to revisit the Yorkshire coast. The hotel retains many of its fine Victorian features and is adapted tastefully to provide comfortable surroundings in both the public rooms and the bedrooms. Our room enjoyed a pleasant rural view, with sheep and lambs and an occasional glimpse of deer....

Stayed one night on business. Very friendly staff, very relaxed bar for pre dinner drinks. Excellent dinner and a top breakfast to follow the next morning. My room was still to be renovated - but I had a brief glimpse of what was being done and it looked impressive. Will definitely return on either business or pleasure.

Excellent service, food and room - evening meal was fantastic - one of those meals where you know there is nothing that could be improved upon - infact the hotel is of the highest quality - unpretentious in a beautiful setting with beautiful interiors. The staff are great too - very attentive and positive !

We could not have asked for a more perfect evening for our small business function. Fantastic food, extremely professional but friendly staff to add to the amazing building and location. We will be holding future functions here without doubt.
