This place was a real find. We needed somewhere to stay following a funeral and didn't put much effort into the booking so had no real expectations. But we were very pleasantly surprised. Every member of staff that we spoke to was warm, friendly and helpful. The room was extremely comfortable and clean and even had a view of the...

Bed and Breakfast - probably the best we have ever stayed in. Perfect location, lovely staff, great breakfast and absolutely spotlessly clean. Ample parking. Five minutes walk from Peasholm Park and the open air theatre, ten minutes walk from the beach.

Great Hotel in a fab location with lots of street parking which is free. The hotel does have a small car park aswell. We stayed in room 2 on the front. Lovely comfy bed. Every where was spotless. Breakfast was an extra £6.50 each and worth every penny. Lots of choice. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and will...

After 4 of us have just spent 3 nights here, we found it difficult to fault our stay. The Lysander is located in a quiet residential area close to Peasholm Park with plenty of on-street parking. It is tastefully decorated and cleaned and maintained to a very high standard - one of our party kept stroking the paint finish on...

Stayed her with a few other couples over a weekend in September for the wifes birthday. The Lysander is a pleasant B&B with nice & friendly staff. The rooms are very clean and well equipped with kettle, LCD tv and hot drinks etc. We had booked a superior room at an extra cost and if I'm honest I struggled to...
