lovely location central to the town. An old building but the decor isn't lacking. Fixtures in the room all working. Carpet clean, room clean, bedside lamps a bit s hite. Parking outside free between 7pm and 9am but approx £7 for a days parking. No room view as I was on first floor. I ordered an evening meal from the...

Found hairs in the bed, no view apart from a wall, scaffolding and a dead bird. The receptionist moved us to a better room with a lovely sea view, but the room in my opinion could have been cleaner and better equipped with tea, coffee etc.

We stayed for 1 night on Easter Sunday as a family in 2 rooms and the hotel was great. We received an email prior to arrival to explain the parking and luckily we managed to get parked right outside the hotel which was brilliant. The reception staff were lovely, friendly and helpful as were the staff in the restaurant at...

We stayed in a family room at front of hotel.Have stayed in quite a few travelodge hotels and this was one of the least modern and to me seemed in massive need of an upgrade especially in the room itself.Everything in room seemed dated and well worn.Parking was a bit of a nightmare as there are street spaces but these...

We stayed in a family room for one night. Before our stay the hotel emailed to give detailed instructions for nearby parking, which was really useful and excellent value for money (the NCP was a 3 min walk and £5 for 24 hours.) We'd arrived earlier, so this meant we could park, have a walk and lunch before check in...

Stayed for one night in a family room. Room basic overall clean. Double bed comfortable but two children's beds very hard and narrow as I found out after my son fell out of his bed and I swapped beds with him. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast as expected with choice of cooked or cereal / toast etc. Parked in...

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review. We're sorry to hear that you found our pull out beds to be uncomfortable. After extensive customer trials and research, these beds were selected as being the best fit for our family rooms and once again we would like to apologise this was not the case on this occasion....

Stayed one night, hotel is great for the price. Staff on reception were excellent, very friendly. Rooms on the top floor 501, 502 are very quiet with large bed and sea view. Only problem was the third-party vending machine in reception took five pounds and then refused to acknowledge it had.

Good value ,Great position by the sea .room clean but windows outside dirty, shame as it affected the view.Hotel clean and tidy but slightly tatty, appreciate it could be due to age and size of the building. The bed we had was slightly lumpy .Staff very helpful.
