Booked three rooms with the Cumberland Hotel in Scarborough for Friday the 1st of April 2016 for 4 days though Alfa travel has a self drive half board package, I booked two single rooms and on double. We arrived a little early but we were still greeted with a warm welcome and although our rooms were not ready we were...

This hotel is ideally located with a nice walk to the sea front. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The room was clean and spacious and the breakfast was nice. The outside is dated but as I was only here for one night it did not bother me as long as the room was clean. I wouldn't...

On arrival the staff were very helpful and friendly and we found this to be the case throughout our stay. The room was very spacious, lovely and warm and spotlessly clean. On the evening we decided to have a drink in the bar and were very surprised to see how big the room was, very pleasant for an evening, giving...

From the coach drier (Brod, with K & M coaches), reception, all cleaning staff, waiting staff and especially the chefs, everything was 5 stars. This was a perfect 5 day break. Could not fault anything. We will certainly return

Situated on South Cliff and within short walking distance of the beach front and Spa complex, the Cumberland is superbly situated. Nestled between some other hotels, a fresh coat of paint would really make this hotel stand out. The room I had was spotless, with pleasant décor and a most comfortable bed. The shower was huge which I loved and...

Just got back with Alfa Travel from a 4 night break to this hotel. When booking I stipulated it was our belated honeymoon, but I will discuss this on my review of the company. In my mid 50s I would say I was the 2nd youngest guest there (my husband being the youngest) We felt that this hotel catered more...

Great break with lovely food.cl ean rooms and friendly staff..we couldn't ask for more on a budget break.alpha supply a great product but the only fault was the extra length journey on way home when 3hours shorter on way to destinations. But we'll worth every penny on a Good budget holiday.
