I booked this for a special anniversary. The reviews on hotel's own site said very good but bedrooms can be a let down. So I enquired about upgrades from the D/Telegraph bargain special offer where price were "from". This enormously increased the price so I expected to be impressed with the room and I was. It was a large foor...

The hotel has undergone major refurbishment recently and as a keen customer of the Harbour Group we were keen to stay here. It is easy to walk in to town either by the coastal path & Jacobs ladder which is accessed if you turn left out of the hotel and then right. Parking can be a bit tight, but there...

Pianist in the restaurant and great view were slightly undone by slower than expected service and an oversight on our order. We had trouble attracting attention to pay the bill at the end. Crumble was excellent though!

This was our second visit for lunch on Sunday and this time we felt let down on more than one front. Two of us ordered roast pork and it was just disappointing, lacking in flavour, a tiny piece of crackling, masses of cabbage and a lump of carrot that had some odd tasting spice on it that just did not...

We stayed here last week, the food was good. The waiting staff very attentive and the views are stunning on a sunny day. Nice but small spa area, if I went back I would definitely book a treatment. The room we had was lovely, very spacious and well kept with overall good facilities. Would definitely return.

We stayed at this hotel for five nights in August 2016 costing us close to a thousand pounds on a b&b basis. One of the factors in choosing this hotel was the name Sidmouth Harbour Hotel. So this conjured an image of a hotel close to the harbour that would be a relaxing and have easy access to the harbour...

We were shown to our courtyard room by a lovely Receptionist. We had a huge and extremely comfortable bed, a lovely bathroom, robes, slippers, toiletries and a complimentary decanter of gin and sherry. A porter came round to the room at around 5.30 with ice and lemon so we had a delicious gin and tonic before we went to the...
