Just spent 3 great nights at Southcombe Guest House ideally situated a stone's throw from 'The Byes' a beautiful park and a short walk from the city centre and seafront. Jo and Graham are friendly and accommodating nothing was too much trouble. Great cooked breakfast very well organised. Rooms clean and comfortable bed linen tip top. There is a decked...

We could hear TV, which wasn't turned up loud, in the adjoining room. Could also hear person next door snoring!! Room comfortable and clean, but street light outside the property , kept room bright during the night , curtains and blinds absolutely useless . A bit more attention to detail needed by hosts.

We found the welcome not particularly warm or sincere. The proprietor could be a lot more user friendly and helpful. The wifi in the rear annex was poor. Two rooms shared the same shower and toilet facilities. Breakfast was average.

Stayed here with my disabled parents on their October offer. Great value for money; prompt and very attentive service with a friendly warm atmosphere. Will most definitely stay again perhaps when the weather is slightly warmer.. Food was fairly well catered for if u like traditional English food

Lovely room in main house, gardens outstanding and owners went that extra mile to be helpful. A friendly, happy atmosphere amongst guests and very aware of many who have stayed multiple times - always a good sign!

Second time stopping at this lovely place and wasn't disappointed. They are so welcoming and make you feel at ease. Food is superb, rooms clean and tidy. Only a short walk from the centre of town and the beach. Would definitely recommend and done so to anyone else.
