Thank you for your kind review, I am happy you enjoyed your stay with us. You may however have misread our departure time, as this is 1030 hrs, which generally allows all to depart without rushing from breakfast. We hope to see you again soon. Kind regards Dan

Than this one, staff are friendly, and the chef well he is just amazing in the kitchen! and the owners are probably the most friendliest couple I've ever come cross, they will drop anything to do anything for...

Bedroom was large and very comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was good. Only negative point is being on a busy road the fire exit door lets a lot of noise in!

I stayed two nights. The service was excellent, Dan and the staff were very friendly, attentive and willing to accommodate requests like an earlier breakfast. Breakfast was very good, in particular the cooked element of it. Dinner was also very good. My single room was spotless and I am glad it faced the rear as there was some road noise. It...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Woodlands. We liked the smaller, more friendly and less crowded atmosphere, had a very pleasant small room which was clean and comfortable (the mattress was superb!) and were glad to be able to leave the car in the carpark and explore Sidmouth (our first visit) on foot. Our only adverse comment is that the...

Both evening dinner and breakfast were delicious. It was great to be able to use the conservatory and beautiful gardens to chill, chat and party a bit. Thank you all for a...

Came for a family reunion where nothing seemed too much trouble. Owners and staff all exceedingly friendly and helpful. Food wholesome and tasty. One minor point, parking is tight so if your car is double parked please leave your keys in reception!

A fabulous welcoming stay at this attractive family run hotel.  The owners are very friendly and extremely attentive to special requirements in food and accommodation that we had.  The bedroom we where given is on the ground floor is large and very comfortable with a lovely modern bathroom.  The food is excellent with service to match. A serene garden and conservatory in which to enjoy...

My room was as spotless and as comfortable as always. I had dinner in the restaurant for the first time. The food was excellent (so much so that I ate there the second night too!). Located five minutes stroll from the shops and the beach, this is a lovely, friendly hotel and always my first choice when I visit Sidmouth....
