I only stayed the one night. There was ample parking space and the hotel was a short walk from the town and seafront. I was warmly welcomed and the room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast in the morning was excellent and I would have absolutely no hesitation in staying again.

We stayed at The Woodlands Hotel for two nights earlier this week and cannot compliment the owners highly enough for making our stay so enjoyable. We arrived just after breakfast and our bags were taken in and looked after whilst we familiarized ourselves with the charming little seaside town of Sidmouth. We went back and checked in to a beautifully...

We had a superior room, which was very spacious and decorated beautifully, as was the rest of the hotel, the decor was very tasteful. We were very looked after at breakfast...

We stayed at this charming, seaside hotel over Easter weekend. On arrival we were greeted by Dan, who was friendly, helpful and informative. Lots of nice little touches, courtesy tray, water bottle, TV, hairdryer, all the...

Our stay was as members of a wedding party staying for the week-end. Dan and his staff looked after us all incredibly well, and nothing was too much to ask for. The accommodation is spacious, extremely comfortable and within easy walking distance of the seafront and Sidmouth town centre. Breakfast is a treat, whether you have the "full English" or...

We received a very warm welcome and the cooked breakfast is the best I have had in a very long time. Comfortable common areas to relax with friends and good wifi. Nice garden and well looked after throughout.

A four night stay went all too quickly at this historic property. Dan and Megan are exquisite hosts and ensure their guests have an enjoyable experience. Frank, the chef, conjures up superb food and the environment is maintained in a spotless condition. The hotel is located a few minutes walk from both sea front and town and there are a...

Stayed here for 9 nights with several colleagues whilst working in the area. I've never experienced such attentive service from staff who are willing to go above and beyond. Dan and Megan made us feel so welcome and were flexible with the services they gave us as we were working rather strange hours. One night, me and my colleagues were...
