What a wonderful 3 day break at this superb Hotel - Everything was first class and could not be faulted. We had a partial sea view room with twin beds. Very comfortable and well equipped. Restaurant was excellent for food service and ambience. Every attention to detail and good choice of menu both for breakfast and dinner, with thank goodness mainly...

Visited this hotel for a couple of days with our grandson. Thankfully the weather was glorious and we was able to take full advantage of the good sized outside pool to the rear of the hotel. The hotel itself is a little tired if honest, especially the bedroom and bathroom; both very dated, but set it is a lovely position...

Visited with my daughter on a sunny afternoon. We opted to have it served in the White Room which was a lovely room although we were the only people in there. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The cakes, sandwiches and scones were fantastic. really good value at £14.95. Would definitely return.

Spent only one night at the Victoria as part of a weekend stay. Some areas are a little tired - notably the bath in the ensuite to the single room I stayed in which was stained and a bit worn - but its easy to forget about as the main rooms are simply stunning. Lovely sparkling chandeliers, old wood panelling...

My husband and i went for our wedding anniversary. The dining room very light and pleasant. Staff very good. Our meal was enjoyable. But their neighbouring hotel does pip them to the post, with their lunches and service. I will say the white/dark chocolate cheesecake with chantilly cream was a melt in the mouth moment. It really was yummy. Will...

My wife and I stayed here whilst visiting Sidmouth for a family party. Firstly let me stay that many aspects of this hotel are very nice. It is a very historic building with a lovely setting. The room itself is very nice, you get fruit, Belgian chocolates and many toiletries. Our room had a nice view of the sea. The...

To start with, i will say that the hotel looks lovely. It has some gorgeous features from the reception through to the inside lobby and first impressions are impressive. but that is, i'm afraid, where the grandeur ends. My husband had been awed by the websites photographs of the facilities and rooms but having seen them first hand, all i...
