The Cheriton Guest House in Sidmouth is the best place to stay. Both Stan & Julian are very welcoming and can't do enough for you during your stay. Very clean rooms and really good breakfasts. What more could you ask for? We stay for two nights every year on our way to Cornwall and wouldn't stay anywhere else.

We stayed for 3 nights over the August bank holiday weekend. Stan and Julian were very welcoming. The location is perfect. Free parking. Lovely gardens. A nice cup of tea on arrival. Very clean and comfortable room. Nice little balcony. Delicious breakfast. The bacon had a bit of a tang to it - the only fault we could find! Looking...

I don't think it will come as any surprise to readers to learn that a well appointed single rooms in a guest house may be small. Your breakfast comment is however misleading, perhaps it might have been more useful and constructive if you had said " although the breakfast session in this establishment is scheduled to be start at 8.30am...

Our third year staying at the Cheriton and we are always made to feel very welcome. Rooms are tastefully decorated, kept spotlessly clean, with lovely crisp white bed line and fluffy towels. The beds are very comfortable and there is plenty of storage space for a week's stay. Comfortable lounge and beautiful garden for guests to use. Fabulous breakfasts with...

We stayed as a group of six walkers. Julian and Stan were fantastically welcoming and accommodating. Our every need was catered for starting with a tremendous welcome of cake and tea in the garden: much needed after the torturous ups and downs of the coast path! Hosts were ready to have a laugh and also to help us out. The...

A warm welcome awaits one at this comfortable B&B. A pot of tea and a slice of homemade cake were served in the garden on arrival. Guests are encouraged to make use of the garden in good weather and the lounge on cooler days. The garden is fabulous, I wish my own could look so colourful, it is bursting with...

This was the second time we have stayed here. We received a very warm welcome, our room was lovely - comfortable, stylish and spotlessly clean. Lovely breakfast in the morning, local produce and no greasy fried stuff! We would definitely stay again.

Just completed our annual stay and yet again everything was excellent. As usual our hosts were delightful; breakfast excellent and room immaculate. Really handy for the town centre - pretty riverside garden too.

We have stopped at the Cheriton on numerous occasions. Each time we received a warm and friendly greeting from the owners. The rooms were immaculate, the food first class coupled with private parking and central location made each visit a pleasure. We would highly recommend to anyone else wishing to stay in Sidmouth.

We have been staying at the Cheriton for 10 years now. We have always bee very satisfied . This is a very comfortable and welcoming B & B with attentive hosts and an excellent breakfast. The premises are a short walk from the town centre and parking facilities are good.
