A fantastic house and Diane who runs the B&B is very friendly. The breakfast was one of the best I ever had in Scotland. Good place to stay when visiting Royal Lochnagar Distillery. Book a taxi to take you to the distillery (20 min drive).

Hi There, We were a bit disappointed in this Guest house, for a start we thought we had booked a double room, and unfortuneatlately the owner took us to a rather dismal twin single room, with a dismall view, we had traveled from Australia and were to tired to dispute With her. The ensuite bathroom could do with an update...

After bicycling many hours on a rainy day, it was very good to arrive here. The lady at our arrival was very kind and helpful with our wet clothes as well so we could get dry everything and after an excellent breakfast we could go on. :)

Diane was the perfect hostess and their B&B is lovely. A beautiful big old house with lovely bedrooms and an excellent breakfast. Easy walking into the little town; the beautiful River Don just across the road with a bench beside it for contemplation! The town is still recovering from devastating floods in January but a very good meal can be...

I was traveling through Scotland with 3 of my friends when we stayed at Inchgeal Lodge. From the moment I saw the font yard, I knew this would be a nice stay. The grounds are very well kept, and have a sort of soothing feel to them. Looking out from the house, you have a remarkable view of the hills...

After a hard graft cycling from Glenshee and trying to get through the Cairngorn Mountains, I was relieved to get to Ballater and have a relaxing nights sleep. Only downside with my room upstairs was no television present but in all honesty, I didn't require one as I needed to catch up on rest time and also get my cycling...

Our cycling tour stopped off here en route to John O'Groats. We were immediately welcomed with a smile by the lovely lady owner. The house is perfectly located close to the village centre. We were lucky to have the large room with mega bathroom in the front. Breakfast was very good with a good choice. The best thing of all...

Stayed only one night in this lovely old residence. Close to everything but on a quiet side street across from the river Dee. Room and bed were very comfortable. We were in the Invercauld room with a view of the front garden. Diane made us a tasty breakfast as well as making us feel very welcome.

We just spent a night there and it was a pity because the area was beautiful and the B&B excellent. Big room with big lovely bathroom, excellent breakfast with a view and great lounge with sofas & TV to unwind. A hidden gem with great prices!
