My husband recently stayed here on 2 occasions as he was working in the area. On the 2nd occasion they remembered him. Room was spotless and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and had good choice. Welcome was friendly and helpful. Good location as very close to job he was on.

Very welcoming and friendly new owners, nothing was too much trouble. Two of us arrived by bicycle and stayed as a stopover on the Hadrian's wall cycleway. Secure bike storage, fabulous vegetarian breakfast.

We had a very nice trip - Adele and her son were incredibly friendly, and made our stay great with good advice about things to do and places to eat, and they generally looked after us very well. The rooms are great, entirely clean of course, very nicely appointed and have wonderfully high ceilings, which I love!

Thank you so much to Tom and Adele for our brilliant stay. They were both so friendly and welcoming, even after we had to cancel our first stay in October due to puppy being poorly and it was no problem. The room was wonderful cosy with all the little things you need for a comfortable stay. Even though they have... More

Mom and Tom have brought an energy to this place. I am a budget traveler. I was having trouble finding a place due to the floods last year. They came thru and helped me with my Hadrian's Wall hike storage. Tom answered every question about the bus station, where to find a good sandwich shop (Karen's), a beer before the... More

The Mother and Son Team who are running this Guest House are very friendly and helpful. They are also hardworking in keeping the place in such a good state of maintenance and cleanliness. The en-suite room on the top floor that I had was warm, clean and comfortable with very little noise from traffic or other rooms. The House is... More

My friend and I stayed here two nights on our trek on the Hadrian's Wall walk. All of our overnights were great but this was the best! Adele and her son Tom were so nice and accommodating to our needs. We had been on the trail for 10 days and needed some clean clothes and a rest. Adele took care... More

Stayed here over the weekend and I must say will definitely be back. Rooms very good and comfy and the food is very good. All the staff were great with us and I'd definitely recommend this place if you are looking to stay in Carlisle.

Booked the Cornerways B&B for an overnighter with my friend and what a wee gem it is! Lovey big house with statement lamps, mirrors and candles in the entrance hall which made the place feel like home. We arrived alot earlier than planned but Adele couldn't have been more welcoming, her son Tom was just finishing preparing the room so... More

Had a two night stay, excellent service, spotlessly clean. Very warm welcome and great location, short walk to centre with lots of bars and restaurants and the all important shopping. We will be sure to stay again! Well done Adele and Tom 👍🏻 first class
