Very nice premier inn. Easy to find. Friendly staff. Room clean. Bathroom smelt when we arrived but after flushaing the toilet a few times the smell went, maybe the room hadn't been used for a few days. Great place to stay to break the journey to Scotland.

Stayed here for one night with mates on our way to Scotland. As usual with this chain we got a decent room, comfy bed in a very good location right next to J44 of the M6. Breakfast was spot on. Only minor complaint that the staff on reception were not to clued up about local shops etc. Overall good.

The hotel is brilliantly located with plenty of car parking. The reception staff and other staff friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the room was very tired and very disappointing having just stayed in two other Premier Inns in the previous week (one that had just been refurbished, the other they were just beginning to refurb whilst we were there, but nowhere... We stopped over here on our way to Scotland and the staff and management here are amazing. Customer service at dinner was excellent and very friendly. Food was also very good. We got our breakfast times mixed up and realised on the way to the restaurant that we had missed it as we were by then 30 minutes late. We... More

Stayed at the Premier Inn twice in one week. Both times we were allocated rooms that were clean and comfortable. There are 7 stairs down to all the rooms then further flights of stairs if you are on the second or third floor. Staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't eat there as there are so many other places around... More

We needed an overnight stay near Carlisle and this hotel fitted the bill perfectly. The hotel is in an excellent location and has a large car park. Our previous few nights had been spent in recently refurbished Premier Inns so we noticed a difference with this hotel. The room wasn't as large and the fittings were getting a little tired.... This is just really handy and easy to find of M6 J44. There is cheapish petrol at the Morrisons down the road and nearby shops and food outlets. Bring a trolley bag though, the corridors are very long!

The Premier Inn at Jct 42 of the M6 is in an excellent location for a stop over if you are travelling to Scotland from either the Midlands or South England. It is only a couple of minutes from the Motorway and has loads of parking. Food in morning was very good value for money and children eat free. Friendly... More

This is a good Premier Inn with really friendly helpful staff. We stayed to be convenient for an early am start for a coach journey to Southampton to embark the Queen Elizabeth ship. This is a lovely Premier Inn and guess what? There's a Marks and Spencer just around the corner🙂 would highly recommend this hotel.

Booked here due to its location to the M6 for an overnight whilst travelling up from Plymouth to Aberdeen . Never used this chain before but knew Lenny Henry had a good nights sleep here . We weren't expecting much but left most impressed . Check in was efficient and friendly and we bought the 2 course evening meal with... More
