A Victorian experience featuring museum quality furnishings, Cumbrian hospitality, and a hearty and optional delicious full English breakfast. A delightful stay and highly recommended, Yvette even packed us a lunch which we gratefully ate on our last day of hiking the Hadrian's Wall trail.

We had a great time here. We arrived and received very detailed instructions about where to eat and drink... and it's all a 5 minute walk away. Our room was great and the next morning our hosts genuinely wanted to talk us - and they were so interesting. Try the smoked haddock & Parmesan omelette. Yum !

Our room was delightful, overlooking the charming secret garden, with very comfortable bed and divine bathroom. Yvette is a most accomplished chef and our evening meals were superb, followed in the morning by our excellent breakfasts. Safe parking was provided for our car. I recommend Langley House most highly.

We stayed at Langleigh for two nights earlier this month whilst visiting a relative in hospital, the house itself is beautiful and the owners are just lovely people. Our room was delightful and the breakfast delicious. Will definitely recommend Langleigh to all.

Spacious, comfortable room in a lovely part of the city but very close to amenities. Free parking off the street. Perfect shower. Great breakfast choice and fantastic quality. Caters well for walkers and cyclists including a hot water bottle made up in the bed on top of the warm room. Victorian theme throughout. Very friendly owners. Great value for money.

Stayed here for one night whilst cycling End to End. Norman the owner has been a cyclist himself and was very chatty about it. He also gave good advice on places to eat. Decor is quite elaborate and chintzy, e.g. there was a large, old fashioned chest of drawers in the en-suite. Breakfast was really good.

This was our first visit to Langleigh House but definitely NOT our last. We stayed for four nights and were very warmly greeted by Norman and Yvette our hosts. This is a very beautiful Victorian House which is resplendent with opulent rooms, which had lovely little finishing touches, fresh fruit and bottled water. There is also a secret garden, which...

We had a very warm welcome from Yvette and Norman when we arrived. The house is beautiful. It is well maintained, warm, well furnished and comfortable. It is an easy walk to Carlisle town centre. Breakfast was tasty and served in a comfortable dining room.
