Detailed Reviews
We had a lovely stay here last weekend .
The hosts where so attentive and nothing was too much trouble.
The car park at the back is small for a large car but they where happy enough for us to back outside the front.
They put a fan in our room knowing it would be warm at night without even asking .
So friendly and make you feel welcome and relaxed.
Everything was clean and well looked after.
The breakfast was delicious and a great way to start your day !
The b and b is on a quiet street, just 5 mins walk from the front.
Highly recommended and we will be back.
Thank you !!

Just returned from another lovely stay at the Northdale and looking forward to my next stay in a few weeks time. We has a family have been coming for 20 years and between 3 and 5 times a year. I have stayed at other places when we haven’t been able to stay but we always return. We drop my parents off for a week and we stay 2 nights. Chris and Melanie do a fantastic job at welcoming you and can’t do enough for, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are modern many refurbished recently. The beds are comfy we always sleep well. My parents always ask for room 3 that’s their favourite and we have been in most of the others but usually rooms 4 or 7. The rooms are spotless with plenty of storage/hanging space and plenty of choice of teas and coffee. Bathrooms are clean and bright and are updated regularly to maintain their high standards. There’s a stair lift to tbd first floor so ideal for older guests or anyone who struggles to use the steps, Chris is happy to store mobility scooters in the garage and there is good off road parking. After your welcome cuppa at check in you can view the breakfast menu and evening meal menu. They have an award for breakfast and there’s plenty of choice. Breakfast is lovely not fatty or greasy all ingredients cooked well. My parents have the evening meal, being older they don’t want to venture out. The menu is plentiful and again cooked well and like the breakfast you don’t go hungry. There’s a bar area if you wish to stay in and there’s usually a game or two of bingo etc. Chris and Melanie go above and beyond to make sure your stay is a great one and it’s great value for money. See you again soon!

The couple who ran the B&b were lovely. Very polite and attentive. They also had a stair lift to the first floor which I thought was a nice touch for those who may have needed it. Everything was very clean and it’s not as outdated as a lot of other hotels I’ve stayed in for this price range in Skegness. Not far from the front at all which is a nice bonus! The bed in room 7 wasn’t very comfortable, every time you made a slight movement all you could hear and feel were the springs. However plenty of refreshments were available as well as a TV, kettle and WiFi access. I thought it was very strange that there was only a half an hour time slot for breakfast which was between 8:30 - 9 so if you wanted to be out early for the day or have a lie in you’d miss breakfast. The breakfast was okay, hash brown soggy and undercooked but I still ate it so can’t complain! Bacon was a bit fatty and greasy and they’d mentioned something about thawing the sausages which nothings ever as nice when it’s been frozen! All in all you get what you pay for really, I’ve been to worse but also been to better, beggars can’t be choosers when a pandemic hits! I wouldn’t say don’t visit but not sure if I’d be thrilled about going again. Appreciate the service but it was just, okay.

We booked this B&B based on existing reviews and experiences and happily we were glad we booked this place! Such an accommodating couple in the owners Chris & Melanie, everything we asked was catered for, the room was very spacious, clean and tidy so much so it made us feel like we were in our own bedroom at home and not a strict hotel room… we were on the 2nd floor superior room, and the en suite facilities were all immaculate. Breakfast was lovely and they give you on arrival a request sheet for your requirements for breakfast. There’s enough car sparking onsite for each room but be careful if you have a very large car as the driveway down the side is a bit tight…
The B&B is within 5-10 minutes walk from the seafront, on the boating lake side, as well as all local shops and attractions. The area is also very quiet too which is appealing also…
Couldn’t thank the owners enough for such a wonderful stay, and would highly recommend plus would definitely stay there again in the future!

Lovely hotel with its own parking . It’s situated in a nice quiet residential area and yet only 400m from the sea front . The hosts offered me a pot of tea upon arrival which was most welcome after a hard day . I had A large room at the front of the house. They have thought of small things that matter to me like a bottle of water in the room, a safe, and nice quality loo roll ! And a port to charge my phone and iPad . Breakfast was piping hot and filled me . Upon checking out , the host gave me a bottle of water for my journey home . A vey nice peaceful stay , thank you

Only intended on staying one night, but end up staying an extra night as both the hotel and the owners were nothing but welcoming. Nothing was too much. They opened the bar whenever we wanted a drink and even prepared a homemade banquet especially for us. Both kam and seeva were the perfect hosts and will definitely be returning.

Came for a few days for hubby's birthday and our 40th wedding anniversary. Was offered a cup of tea as soon as we arrived which was very welcome. Host very attentive and even gave us an anniversary card when they'd noticed our other cards up in our room. What a lovely gesture. Will definitely be coming back again. It has everything you would ever need.

Me and my partner fancied a weekend in Skegness, so having checked the Internet, we came across the Northdale Hotel. So we booked it through Booking. Com. Now although Booking.com got it wrong, not surprised the Hotel was a pleasant surprising,
. It had everything you wanted. From the hosts, the food, and the adorable room. Even free parking. Nothing was too much. We could have shown up with just a tooth brush as everything was supplied. There was only one thing wrong, the heated towel rail was inoperative. Wow, that such a problem. Congratulations Northdale. We shall return again soon.
