Detailed Reviews
This is our second visit to Julia & Clive's beautiful guest house. I think of it now as a home from home in every sense of the meaning. If you want it, you ask for and if they have it, you get it. Julia and Clive have a wonderful sense of humour and are very much "people" people. The guest house is recovering very nicely after all the lockdown malarkey. Julie and Clive have kept their prices low as they understood that other people were in the same boat with lockdown and money was tight for everyone. We all needed to have a break from our home lives and venture out to the coast to knock the cobwebs off and start living again.
Breakfast is full English made to your spec... don't like mushrooms? tell them and they will not be on your plate. Only want one piece of bacon and you want it frazzled, tell them. There are cereals and yoghurts too. Choice of tea or coffee and fruit juice. Your breakfast is truly bespoke to you.
Entertainment is literally across the road in the New Park Club. Prices are cheap and a great selection of drinks. Really friendly club. Look on Skegness websites to see what's on prior to your visit. Last weekend was reggae this weekend was the Ted Stomp, 50/60's rock and roll music. People dressed for the occasion too. Frilled dresses, drain pipe trousers and brothel creepers. The quiffs and hairstyles were a picture. They came from all over the UK. The whole of Skeggy was a boppin.
We met some brilliant fellow guests and enjoyed the evening in the club with them.
Would we go to the Beachdene again? Too bloody right we would. Thank you Julia, Clive and Julie for another amazing weekend. Glad to have met your Son and his friends too. I might be doing myself out of digs at this rate as everyone will want to visit. We will without a doubt be back.
Love you guys.

Just back from a lovely 4 night break at the Beachdene in Skegness. Julia and Clive are great hosts and we received the warmest welcome I've ever experienced at a holiday accommodation.
Nothing too much trouble and always very friendly.
Clive helped with my partner's mobility scooter which was delivered to the Beachdene before we arrived and collected when we left.
The location of the Beachdene is great, only a five minute walk from the pier and seafront.
Very nice Full English every day, with Anita regularly asking if you need anything like more toast, tea etc.
All in all we had a very nice stay and would definitely go back to the Beachdene when in Skeggy.

Very basic furniture all miss matched needs re decorating mould on curtains bathroom needs a really deep clean. We was in a room at the back of the property not
in the main b&b so don’t no what that is like. They have dogs so if allergic don’t go. We didn’t have breakfast. There is no parking so it’s park on the road or in a car park which costs extra. Plus side situated in a really good spot close to central pier and all the amenities. Wasn’t for me and the husband so will not be returning.

Lovely place to stay friendly staff that couldn't do enough for you. Close to the bars and beach. Lovely breakfast they had a choice of cereals and a full English breakfast. Tea and coffee making facilities even a a complimentary biscuit or 2.
The only thing that let it down from me was the bathroom. We stayed in room 6 so I don't know if they're all the same but it was very cramped if your a bigger person like my self you will find it hard to use. I dare say even an average person might struggle. But don't let that put you off staying here.

My family has just returned from a few days staying here and have had a great time.
The location is perfect, as it is easy to find and less than a minutes walk from Skegness Pier. There are also the Tower Gardens on the next road which is great for families, pet walking or if you're just looking to relax.
The hosts Clive and Julia are wonderful people and extremely welcoming and can't do enough for their guests. They treated us incredibly well, especially our young son who didn't stop smiling.
The rooms have everything you need from a private bathroom, kettle (tea / coffee), hairdryer and the booking comes with a free delicious breakfast each day.
I highly recommend Beachdene Guest House and will definitely be returning

Very basic b&b , decor very mismatched , could be cleaner , breakfast served at 8.30am no other time which was far too early after a late night , breakfast was ok but definately not 5 stars as previous guests have said .
Other friend allergic to dogs so not good their dogs are jumping up you even though they are very friendly.
Overall if you want a basic b&b with no frills this is for you .

Well where to begin....let's start with Clive & Julia....the perfect hosts for our stay cation. Nothing was too much trouble for them...they welcomed us with open arms and we spent time chatting, having a good laugh and relaxing! The b&b is very welcoming and a home from home. We could come and go as we pleased and spent a few evenings just sitting out in the enclosed area having drinks and listening to music. The guesthouse is ideally situated for all local amenities and eating establishments. Amusements and fun fair a short walk away. Thankyou so much for our trip and we will see you next year 😊.

Had a great 3 day stay at the Beachdene bed and breakfast. The room was comfortably furnished and just right. Very friendly and approachable staff who were happy to advise of local sites to visit and places to dine. The Beachdene is conveniently located only 100 yards from the seafront but without the noise and bustle. A lovely place.....

Came here for a 2 night stay because we were visiting Fantasy Island. The B and B is clean, comfy and functional. It also has a beautiful patio area at the back. It’s ideal for people wanting to spend time at the beach as it’s less than a 5 min walk. The breakfast was delicious and even provided vegetarian sausages. All the staff were truly lovely and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Added bonus was the fur babies of the B and B, they made us smile and loved a fussing 😍. Would 100% recommend this place!!!
