Came here to concentrate on some research. The room was nice and comfy. The breakfast was a nicely cooked breakfast and the owners were lovely. Very friendly and chatty but very understanding of the need for a bit of head space.

Booked just a few days in advance for one night only. Advised by text that the room was ready early in the day. Greeted by Andrea, very friendly and helpful even given advice on where to eat for dinner. Room was a small double and had to turn sideways to get between the end of the bed and the wall... More

Stayed here for 3 nights with my husband and 3 children (aged 10, 8, and 4)! Owners Tim and Andrea are both very friendly and welcoming! Upon arrival Tim showed us to our room, offering to help us upstairs with our bags! Our room wasn't huge (being a family of 5) but has been comfortable enough for our stay! A... More

The place is very close to beach and town. Very good personel and great food. Only reason why not 5 stars. The pressure in shower is so low that it take too long to have a shower. I know it's a small thing but for me and my wife it was the only bad issue that I found difficult.

We stayed for one evening in a double room, which was cosy and clean and the bed was very comfy. Breakfast was a tasty full English which you pre ordered the day before and there were a selection of fruit juices, cereals, fruits and yoghurts also on offer, along with tea and coffee. The street was really quiet and yet... More

What can we say? Apart from Andrea makes you feel so welcome, this beautiful little guest house is definitely home from home which was spotless, and the breakfasts were amazing, definitely going back we loved it! Very close to the town centre too, and all other attractions it took us 10 minutes to walk.

Just stayed at the philharmonic guest house and the hospitality was fantastic. Our room was small but perfectly OK. Located in the quiet part of town but only 10 minutes to front. A superb breakfast all piping hot was quickly served. Definitely recommend to anyone and only £58 for the night.
