Food was OK but not brilliant. Pies are tops in a dish. Desserts are a big let down and expensive for what you got. Staff very friendly and attentive. Plenty of parking, lovely interior, Better restaurants around for same prices

Just had a fantastic lunch at the Links hotel Skegness. The staff we lovely and couldn’t fault the food. only went in for a quick drink but could resist eating while we were there. The beer (Batemans XXXB) was really stored well. Booked for a carvery later in the year when the family are coming to visit. Definitely would recommend a visit.

I was in a party of eight who went there for an evening meal. There is a wide choice of drinks at the bar. The menu is comprehensive and caters for all tastes. The restaurant is well furnished. The food and wine choices were excellent, as was the quality of service.

Went to stay last night with my family was late getting booked in had to wait an hour out side with my 2 young children finally got let in to my room at 3pm after being told we could check in at 2 didnt end up sleeping there as the room was disgusting brown marks all over bedding and cushions was like dried in urine. Cups and saucers was stuck to each other with brown stains. Toilet had urone in and all around the seat.carpet had mud on. The room smelt stale. The manager was very rude to me when rang him to require a refund ended up bringing my children home due to lack of cleanliness. Waiting on a call for refund and will be goin to trading standards with photographic evidence. Definately changed over was there last year and was beautiful. Due to covid19 would of thought the hygiene would of been up to standards.

Booked for a quiet night away for me, my partner and my daughter. The hotel was cheap so didnt mind the rooms being dated and a little shabby but the marks and stains on the beds were disgusting. When down to the bar to have a drink before we chilled out, whilst talking to the guy behind the bar explained to him we'd come for a quiet night away he then laughed and said "depends how loud and bassy the karaoke is" also asked him how he broke his hand to be told he either hit the manager or the wall. At bout 7.30pm we went upstairs to chill out started watching a film, at 8pm the karaoke started what a joke that was we might aswell have stayed in the bar as the hole room shook, we couldnt hear our film over the din, this finally finished at around 11pm and the moving of tables, shouting and banging finally finished around 11.45pm. Why would they put the family rooms above the bar as most people with kids want them asleep before midnight and not crying because they are tired and carnt sleep over the noise. Also looking around the room all the pat testing on the electrics are out dated (may 2019) and in the corridors the fire extinguishers are used and door stops to hold fire doors open. Potentially a death trap, would never recommend this hotel and would never go back.

Had booked 2 x family rooms through hotels.com for 1 night for 3rd August. Was phoned by OYO "customer service line" at 10:30am on the morning of the stay to be told that the rooms were no longer available due to "circumstances". I said this was strange as i had phoned the hotel the day before to confirm and all was okay. I phoned hotels.com who werent aware of this at all. I then asked my wife to phone the hotel direct and asked if they had any rooms available. Strangely, they had 2 x family rooms available for £125.00. I phoned OYO "customer service line" back and they told me that the Hotel was closed due to COVID. When i told them that this was a complete lie they got angry on the phone and said that this is what the hotel owner had told them. I decided to phone the hotel owner direct and explain all of the above. Got diverted to his mobile and he said he wasnt at the hotel until midday and hadnt told my wife he had 2 family rooms available and that our rooms were now cancelled. Reading the previous reviews, this clearly isnt the first time this has happened but i feel we may have dodged a bullet reading the reviews of the people that have recently stayed. Thankfully we hadnt left home but still 2 days family time at the beach ruined thanks to OYO who offered no apology. Hotels.com were no better offering no apology or no assistance with alternative accommodating. I will take this matter further and i will make sure that this "hotel" is exposed for what i truly is.

This was one of the worst experience. I came for a weekend away with my two children . It was very cheap so I wasn’t expecting the ritz . The room was shabby. They had karaoke on downstairs and the noise resonating through the floorboards was unbelievable. I ask if there was any way we could change to a different room but the owner told me they were fully booked .
Then things went from bad to worst . I moved a small bedside cabinet to put it front of the door as the locks looked dodgy and I didn’t feel safe . I didn’t realise this was holding up the radiator which was not attached to the wall , as this fell it snapped a pipe . The water started pouring on to the carpet. I had to grab towels to try and prevent a flood , my poor children had to run down stairs in there pjs to ask for help .
This is when three drunk men tried to fix it !!!!!!! They were rude and aggressive I was offered a different room which apparently they didn’t have 30 minutes ago.
I felt so unsafe and being alone with my two children staying there was no long an option.
I rang 8 different guests houses which were all booked . At this point I’m in tears , lucky a lovely lady from fairfax hotel took pity on me and offered us a room . The time now is 22.30 my children had to walk in the dark in their pjs to the new hotel
Please please don’t ever stay at this hotel

I would not recommend it hotel. I have booked a family room and I have paid for it. On arrival I ve been told I have to pay extra for a family room because my children were not included. I ordered a cot and I was not avaliable. Managment was not avaliable when booking.com contacted them-fraud. The linen was nt changed. Room looked not fresh. In the corridor we could smell urine! No, never again!

Absolutely appalling service, I have never experienced anything as bad as this, the manager really couldn't care at all and it really showed,I booked for Christmas day as price seemed ok and we had eaten there, before the new people had taken over, the meal was ok but not good the service was an absolute disaster every table order was wrong and our wait for food was ridiculous, when we came to pay the price had been increased, we were fools to pay for the disastrous service but we just wanted to leave, really spoiled our day. The new owners need to either go back and train in Hotel Management and catering or choose a different career path this place is going down hill like a sinking ship. Avoid at all costs we will never return discusted,I could go on but there is too much to say I wouldn't be surprised if this place closes or is closed down.

Hiya, I've not been for a month or so, you'd best phone & ask them, it was about £8 for an adult, sometimes winter prices alter & they are doing a Tues night special I think of 2 for £12 at the moment. That's well worth it.

There is certainly wheelchair access to the groundfloor of the hotel. I cannot comment on wheelchair access to the rooms as we only use the Hotel's Dining Room for meals out.

My wife and myself stayed in this hotel last weekend25/04/2015 and the negative review which I have read just mystified me. I am in an awful lot of doubt as to whether the corespondant Joanne has indeed got the right hotel. For myself, I was not expecting the Ritz and neither did I get it, but our hosts were absolutely excellent and no way could the food be faulted. The hotel was warm, welcoming and clean and we would definitely stay there again. Agreed, the room was a bit on the small side but for a night or two I'd be quite happy, particularly if the TV would work hehehehehe. to stay here again any time. The hosts went well out of their way to look after us and the other guests at the reunion and it was a great time had by all. If people want to know about bad hotels, they want to try a certain one near Coventry and to which my reply was not accepted by Trip Advisr because I had gone one step too far. LINKS? XXXXX 5 star for the money.
