Avoid at all costs! Rooms are falling apart (gaffer tape on tables), awful smell and sleeping at night is difficult with a nightclub going on underneath the rooms. Recommending this place would be a cruel thing to do.

Nice surroundings, good place for lunch, menu could be better, more choice needed. We were overcharged on drinks, I did ask if over on cocktails had been applied and was told yes, but bill didn't reflect this

The room was perfectly fine with all the amenities needed and good Wi-Fi although a bit shabby around the edges. I was in a front bedroom so road noise was loud in the evening but to be expected from hotel located on a high street, however a beer delivery arrived about 7.30 the next morning which was very loud. The...

I am reviewing the bar but not sure why anyone would want to stay in the hotel above at weekends I find this place pretty friendly and a good place for a late drink with friends. Drinks choice okay not the greatest. Does show sport on TVs and has two dance floors Have to be 21 or over which is...

Gents toilets are disgusting, shabby, unclean, door sticks so I had to get my hand underneath the gap to force it open from the inside 2 out of 10. Poor apology for a full English, sausage and bacon undercooked, egg murdered, coffee instant from a jar hot water supplied altogether a thoroughly unpleasant experience won't go back - 2 out...

The rooms should not be used during disco or live band nights. The noise was unbearable. Room vibrated until 3am, noise level unbearable, even tv at full volume could not help. Pillows in room, flat, no pillow protectors, had to double over 2 pillows to get some thickness. BREAKFAST. Good breakfast, but service !,!. Given menu then had to wait...

Have stayed at this hotel before and although the noise was noticeably much louder than before. We were warned at the time of booking but were told we would have a room in the quieter part of the hotel. Heaven help people who were not!!

First impressions: Nice reception, friendly helpful staff - looks promising.. I notice in some reviews, the card-key access is mentioned, it's still dodgy and takes on average 5 swipes to open the door. (not a big issue, but probably worth getting fixed). Room was OK, bed was very comfy I slept really well. Slightly surprised that only one bedside light...

I'll start off with the good bits. The state of the room wasn't too bad. We understood it's a listed building so not everything would be monitored but taking that into account it wasn't too bad. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was amazing. Nice and centrally located in Sutton Coldfield town centre Unfortunately there were a few bad bits as well....

Stayed saturday as attending function nearby. Was warned that it would be very noisy until 3am as have disco in hotel...and it was! Paid £75 which was reduced rate but should have been cheaper. On arrival parked in car park that said hotel guests had to pay then get money refunded. Reception said you don't need to...got money back. Swipe...
