We didn't want to travel far but fancied a night away after a hectic week. Although the hotel clearly needs an update we found our room clean and warm with plenty tea and coffee. We found the reception and bar staff friendly and following a good nights sleep enjoyed a morning swim with use of the facilities before leaving. We...

We were given a smelly damp cold small room to begin with which was then changed to a slightly larger not smelly cold room. But the bathroom door lock was bodged and my 8 year old daughter got stuck in there. My husband cut his foot on the broken tiles. Needless to say we checked out after 1 night having...

We stayed here as part of the cadbury land package with our twins. We arrived early after staying in a terrible place the night before and were met by the reception staff. They allowed us full use of the leisure area and enabled us to check in early. The leisure area is lovely and clean, the twins enjoyed their swim....

This hotel is currently being updated, which can't possibly be done fast enough. I was staying for a conference, and I understand it is cheap, The public areas are fine - not special, but fine. Food is average. The bedrooms and bathrooms are the problem. My room was a standard double. The bed was spotless and curtains were in good...

Me and my partner stayed at the Ramada on the 25th July, as we was visiting friends which we had made on holiday earlier in the year. Booked a woucher deal, room, bed & breakfast and afternoon tea for a great price of £59. The room we was allocated was a fair distance from reception, but we asked to be...

Ok, so we had a good deal which induced us to stay at The Ramada in Sutton Coldfield; we wanted to visit the Birmingham area and this hotel, just a short drive - or better a handful of railway stops away, was perfectly situated. The check in was handled by an enthusiastic young man, who was a font of information. The...

Booked for me by my business, so didn't have a choice, signs saying it's going through a refurbishment so I can look past the ripped and dirty carpets, what I cannot look past is walking into my room and the toilet having mess all down the side! Not a great stay maybe pop back when its had its refurb, only...

Waited 35 minutes for a drink. The beef from the carvery was too tough to cut let alone chew. Very expensive and disapointing. The staff were all very young and obviously not trained. Felt sorry for them because there weren't enough of them. Absolutely no sign of anyone in charge. There was a lady with a bun when we arrived...
