I stayed here with a friend for one day and night, i loved having all the facilities close by and the swimming pool was great and very relaxing but i felt a bit let down due to the price and service. on my arrival, at the correct time, my room was not ready and i had to go back an...

Went to this hotel for a relaxing night, we were kept up by music until 2am and once we had complained the staff were not apologetic at all! Offered a free breakfast for the inconvenience - does not account for a sleepless night!

Impressive drive, local area is better than typical Birmingham which is best experienced from the air. The Hotel does need updating and my room was typical of this tiredness also its bit of a spiders web trying to navigate around, so i got lost going back to my room. The bar and its staff were fab and although it was...

This hotel is not worth the money! The room we had was very tired in terms of its decor, the radiator didn't work and the room smelt of cigarette smoke. The bathroom had no fan and had a rusty bit in the bath. The curtains didn't properly fit the windows and we were unable to lock the balcony door. The...

This place doesn't deserve the three stars it has. While the decor is quite dated, the hotel has excellent facilities and is set in stunning grounds. The staff made the trip for us on our two day business trip. Michelle in particular wen above and beyond to accommodate our needs and was smiley and fun to boot. If you can...

This hotel is badly in need of a refurbishment, the rooms are very tired, our bed was uncomfortable, bedding inadequate, the quilt was so thin..peeling paint, mould on the shower edge. The rooms are also quite a hike from reception along corridors with carpet held together with black tape. The staff however were all friendly but that said it took...

We stayed here for Crufts with our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel as Trivago (via Superbreaks) had said it was dog friendly. This was a deal at £130 for 2 nights 1st night meal free. Turned out we were held up on M6 for 7 hours more than planned and arrived at 2.00 am instead of 7pm. The hotel agreed to...

My wife and I stayed ver the night before we were showing our dog at Crufts, with our best friends. Clearly that love dogs at this hotel. The hotel is very large and spacious and the rooms warm and comfortable. The best thing though was the, nothing is too much trouble, attitude of the staff. They were all amazing! He...

We were lucky to be allocated a refurbished room overlooking the lake. It was beautiful and so quiet and relaxing. Excellent facilities, crisp white bedding, comfortable bed and a huge flat screen TV. There is a path around the hotel with access to a lovely walkway along the stream. Large free car park. We had a Saturday night stay and...

We had afternoon tea in the bar where again the staff were very friendly and the tea was superb, much better than some 5 star hotels we have visited.
