A great place to break up a journey - we were traveling betwen London and The Lakes. Lovely warm pool, pleasant grounds and clean and functional room. Food was ordinary but not overpriced. Not sure why there was duck poo in the corridor to the leisure centre but made my daughter laugh. Lovely walk along canal directly from hotel grounds.

Shocking and even worse on the complimentary return visit. Avoid at all cost. Do yourself a favour spend a little extra and get somewhere decent..... nothing much else to say better off in a premier Inn........ customer service at complaint level waste of time either and not really interested

Appalling response from the management, 2 of them haven't called back from our complaint. Avoid the family room 219 on 1st floor which has extractor fans that sound as though they're going to explode (at midnight) and don't question the management as you will basically be accused of lying. Disgraceful!!! If I could have given no stars I would have.

I booked 2 nights accommodation about 2 months prior to our stay for 2 adults & 1 child in a family room and then added a further night, a couple of nights before arriving. On arrival, we were greeted by the receptionist (Michelle) who was very pleasant & friendly. We checked in, were allocated room 118 & given directions of...

I stayed here for 3 nights on business. I had a very long walk to my room and the layout is very confusing. Decor is tired and the carpets are quite disgusting in places, but the grounds are lovely set on a lake and pleasant gardens. The pool is very much a leisure and not a swimming pool, but nice...

You will find it hard to find a more well equipped hotel. Good clean rooms. Easy to find. Really good pool, sauna and steam room. Good in the restaurant was amongst the best I've tasted. Staff were helpful and friendly too. Perfectly located for the NEC. Would stay again if in the area.

I found this to be a lovely hotel with friendly staff, we had one overnight stay so unfortunately we didn't make good use of the facilities- I would have used the swimming pool, but it was a flying visit for an event in Sutton Coldfield. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice. I would recommend this hotel if anyone was visiting...

First problem finding the room .Different levels and no signage to ours. This room needed updating but some issues could be dealt with .Dirty badly marked walls that could have been improved with a lick of paint .Its an insult to make a deposit charge in case we wrecked the room .(I later said I thought it had been).Filthy patio window.Kettle...

My family stayed for the night on Saturday 8th April in rooms 117 & 122. We arrived about 5pm and went to our rooms. They both stank of cigarettes even though they were non-smoking rooms. I went to reception and told them about it and said I would be in the bar meeting friends and watching the Grand National. Assumed...
